Lmao thats just gow videogames are. In Chrono Trigger, your first objective is to meet up with a friend at a fair. I'm not even halfway through the game and I'm already slaying demons from the past alongside a robot from the future.

The roller coaster of emotions I had when I saw the end
I was just as horrified as Spark when Fark says Clarity won. I cried a lot of tears when Spark weighed himself in to sacrifice himself and destroy the system and called Fark a friend as he waved goodbye. And I was surprised and moved with happiness to see that Fark also considers Spark as a friend and to say that it was also his fault for not asking for his help and that they both try to repair the damage and create a new world where it doesn't matter if someone has flaws... everyone will be welcome
LakeFeperd may take a back seat to the saga for a while. But I hope that in the future he will make Spark 4 or whatever the name of the game that continues the story is called to find out if they both found the happiness they were looking for...
@@jesicafelix3542 There was a True Last Boss against Freom MK0 in the new DLC that ended with a To Be Continued. So most likely there is gonna be a Spark 4.
Damn, I was pinning my hopes on this game. I freaking bought it and completed it. And, ya' know, what? Felipe succeed. He did the good Spark game. Really good. Yeah, dialogues is still sounds like old RPG games. I thought, that characters will have real human voices, but result is not bad at all. Graphics and fighting system are the same. Animations became way better. And also... The story. It's F&CKING BEAUTIFUL. He made tragic, good, *INTERESTING* story. NOT FOOLISH, NOT BORING, NOT *E D G Y* , NOT EVEN CHILDISH, BUT GOOD, REALLY GOOD! Now this brazillian developer is that one, who I can proud.
Man, he really did hit us with an unironic 'real boy' ending.
Man that ending was insane! Twist after twist, the entire journey had me at the edge of my seat!

people keep saying it wasn't great but I beg to differ the reason why I thought it was good was because it came out of left field and through expectations for what was expected and just did a 180 and the games not perfect but people need to start remembering that over 90% of the work was done by just one guy thats impressive when you consider what he's put out till now
@@copingflower1909 the ending had to grow on me. But the writing is top notch.
Kinda wish Dr Armstrong had a more active role in this considering he started all this when he created Clarity and Freom to protect the Megaraph computer.
I'd imagine Ferperd didn't want to add another trope of a super smart scientist being dumb or evil to an already trope filled game.
The game says Dr. Armstrong is basically broken and unmotivated to even fix his mistakes. He just doesn't care anymore. He's like a depressed Eggman. He screwed everyone over and now he's paying the price for his mistakes. That's probably why he has little to no involvement in the story.

It would’ve so cool to fight spark as a battle of ideals clashing with that DOPE MUSIC!! But the ending is still awesome in its own right and was worth the wait
Dude... He's as yellow as Pac-Man, fast as Sonic the Hedgehog, he's got a set of forms like Mega Man and his Attack Speed is equal to Meta-Knight... I'm thinking that he's a potential fighter ready to join the fight for the future Super Smash Bros. Game!
Lmao this is the only series i know where you play as the titular character in ONE GAME while Fark is playable in all three.
Reminds me of the Ys series. The titular Ys is a place that we visit only in Ys 2 (and is just mentioned in Ys 1 and Origin). It doesn't matter in Ys 3-9.

Is a surprising story.
It's miles better from two who (personally) didn't feel amazing- It's surprising, it gets insane, it have some really cool themes...mad respect to the dev.
It really feel like a Sonic Story of the Dark Age, and I absolutely love it.
That ending was so jarring like I got slapped violently across the face and woke up in panic. I thought it was just about a Yellow speedy boi that goes bzzz bzzz not Matrixgelion hybrid.

me to it was very unexpected personally I liked it though clearly its setting up a 4th game in the next few years by Lake and not only that he even said in his QnA stream a forth game is in the cards for him to do next he just has to port the third game over to xbox and maybe playstation and nintendo though it coming to the switch after watching the stream seems less likely do to the architecture of the system and the requirements to run the game being to high for the switch is capabilities

@@YTSirBlack I know all about spark lore specifically so I can tell people what actually happens before they go trying to spread misinformation about the games story. Someone's gotta do it and I enjoy the series enough to be the one to go about it lmao :)
I think he can go back. Why would he want to be killed? I think it's to fit Clarity's plan - scan and discard the living body. Freom simply wanted the discarding to be done by Fark, while his scan is still in Clarity/Spark.
At least they fixed the problem of every boss becoming same-y parry-fests.
The best improvement about this game is that the bosses are a lot nfb n more robust in terms of move set and that you have a variety of ways to damage them

Man I had such a great time going through Eggmanland 2.0! Worth every second (well except for the final boss, it did not do much).

Yeah. Imo vs. FARK, Final Boss (first game), vs. Float, and "Throwback" are the best bosses in the series.
I was waiting for a hype vocal track like in spark 2. the final boss was a bit of a letdown
I still think its weird how Throwback got a vocal track but the final boss didn't...
Thankfully the final Super Boss in the dlc made up for the poor final boss

Second one was essentially a test run. Is it possible to create a 3d action platformer like sonic and publish it on Steam and will it succeed? The answer was yes, so he put quality into the next one.

Guess that apart from Sonic and Kirby inspirations Lake also added a little Mega Man to the plot, huh? I was not expecting to go from funny yellow boy zapping things to the darker equivalent of Mega Man Legends.
The prior games also had some Megaman elements. I mean Spark lives in a world with robots, and Freom had some parallels to Sigma in a way.

i do wish there were more boss variety in this game. the only thing that stands out in my head would be the one where you shoot down an airship, and the mech fight. everything else is a relatively mobile opponent with the same attack cues, with some differences in their approach with those attacks.
Clarity is no different than any of the bosses that came before her, she just has one of the more interesting patterns. Would be nice if we got more giant bosses like fighting a big eggman robot in sonic games, or an immobile boss that can only be hurt in a weakspot or something and you have to run around triggering things in the arena to reveal it. just spitballing.

We kneel l technically yes but also no. The spark we all know in love is still alive but that has never truly been spark just an AI interpretation of spark, reliving his victories, exploring his worlds, speedrunning the stages (and other 4th wall breaking stuff) the true original spark had his mind essentially downloaded and assimilated into clarity's machine world and his body was discarded and died thousands of years ago (time moves differently in the white room fark was in)

@@JabaPlay No its not, 34:43 has way more text than just one line, 22:04 skipped spark landing on the white area and fark asking him to take a seat and the start of his explanation. I haven't watched all of it so I dont know if there is anything else missing but these at least are.

Is it just me, or do the boss fights look super repetitive?
To be fair, he's only using the basic grounded light combo most of the time. There's an unbelievable amount of combos you do to complete the bosses faster. Anything's gonna look repetitive when it's drawn out like this lol
Yeah no disrespect to the guy playing here but he is legit just using the grounded light combo he isn't building his combo meter or anything just spamming one button this game has a huge amount of combo chains from lights into heavies into launches into air combos into either another even higher launcher or into a ground pound. Blah blah blah you get it basically what I'm saying is that this games combat system is very robust but the person playing is just choosing to use one super weak move on repeat which is causing a lot of these boss fights to be drug out to an insane degree

I hate to say this...I really didn't enjoy the ending. Felt kinda silly and had a 'twist' just for the sake of it.
...Still the gameplay is what I bought it for and I still give it a 5/5

You're just playing through a simulation and you don't save the world or any of it's people at all after almost everyone is dead.

Especially since this all happened because Spark didn’t believe in Clarity and stopped the force that was stopping clarity because he didn’t want to wait in a line at a bank.

Give us a actual reason why the story is bad because this is the problem with the modern gaming community
Just say you don't actually understand the story and move on misinterpreting the story of this already pretty niche game and spreading misinformation about it will just gives this game a bad stigma it doesn't need for the people who were actually interested in the story if the series from the first game know exactly what's going beat for beat and can follow properly but people who never really cared for the story in the first place trying to judge the story are always going to assume it's bad and just misjudge what they're seeing because they don't KNOW what they're seeing
It's like watching the 3rd lord of the rings movie or avengers endgame without having watched any of the other movies and calling the story bad. Of course it's gonna be bad you don't even know what happened to get us to this point
