Huge THANKS to you awesome ZOOM guys, for not only producing such excellent and inspiring products, but also for offering such excellent tutorials for helping non-techy working guitar players like me to get started using these products so quickly and painlessly. I already love this amazing A3 acoustic pedal and this video tutorial is really helping me to understand its capabilities in such a user friendly way, covereing everything I need to know to start making music. Way to go guys..you ROCK!!! :))
Thank you.... Shame the author(s) of the user manual didn't think to include this very basic information in it - particularly the part (a) where an indicator light is actually another selector switch (the illustrations in the manual do not explain this) and (b) the reality of storing patches and how they are used.
Just picked one of these up....great pedal but unless you're totally familiar with how to use it, the controls are very frustrating.
I like the inputs for Mic and guitar with separate input levels. I see a lot of possibility for this once I learn how to use it.

How do i change patch with the pedal? At the end of this video he has to enter the menu to change patches with the effects switch. How are we meant to change patch and then activate the patch in a live situation? i.e on stage. We cant keep bending over and tweaking knobs you know!!
I wish you'd started with the switch off, so I know if I'm doing this correctly or it's even working right. :-(

I get a very high pitch frequency that is magnified through a PA system . Is that just my Pedal or is this an inherent problem

I've made my patches set up from A to E but the Effect light does not work or the complete patch I create. How can I fully change patches without drop the effects?

I thought this tutorial was excellant compared to the manual given with the product. Wade you must be Older and your hearing is all screwed up because it was perfectly clear to me. Andy from Zoom, do you have any other tutorials such as how to save more then one patch to pedal 2 or 3?

Hello, we do not currently have any firmware updates for the A3 so your device is up to date!

Why no firmware updates?
The A3 has been discontinued and replaced with the AC-2 and AC-3:
