Sadly this also happened to the Native American languages. Quechua and Guaraní for example are mostly Español.

There was a conscious effort to rid Tamil from borrowed words from other languages like Sanskrit in the 20th century. After the success of the purity movement, Tamil today is probably one of the most "pure" major languages in India (outside of languages like North Sentinelese, most likely).

Despite the fact that many so called dialects of Hindi
probably they are a language are actually pure
      for example Braj and Theth

@@siddhirbhavatikarmja It's difficult to call languages like Awadhi, Braj and Theth "pure" or "unpure" because they evolved primarily from Shuraseni Prakrit, which was itself the result of evolution of Sanskrit and its fusion with neighbouring languages and tribal dialects.

@@Baronnax To be noted that Thamizh wasn't the first language and probably Homo Erectus didn't spoke that
Thamizh was derived from Proto Dravidian language
Same way as Saursheni was derived from Sanskrit
Saursheni prakrit has no extra word except for what Sanskrit has given it
It was never effected hy tribal languages bcz tribals never lived in that region dude
That's a fertile flat land with vast stretch of farm lands
Tribal land starts in southernmost parts of Bihar
So development of Thamizh from Proto Dravidian is same as development of Brah from Sanskrit
Plus Thamizh got corrupted by Sanskrit and then English today
But an average speaker of Braj doesn't uses any persian arabic or english words
It's very kind of spirit that is alive in a very local village in Braj region
Thamizh today is mostly filled with English and Sanskrit words
but Braj rarely got any persian or English words

Subtitles are too small. Youre not using the bottom 50% of the screen at all, so put larger subtitles there at the bottom instead of very tiny up top.

Tamil can be used without other language words. The word brake has many words in tamil. If you tell the word can understand whats is broken. A smal stick or a larg stuff and the way of broken. Whether its boken into two parts or many or brake into pieces. In other langaguages you wan't get this. All tamil spraking people are not taimls. The origins of tamils are the nagas of india. They are lower casted by tha hido ariyans piramins. Tamil come from lord shiwa and the religion is siwahism. Not Hinduism.
The best language to express human feeligs is tamil. No other language compare to this. Some recreation made the language little confusion.
Sangreet is tha tamil samana sithar praying modified language. Not ariya hido piramins. Indian culture is based on tamil nagas culture.

I think every language should do this. It breaks my heart to see Indians blend so much whole English into their speech in Hindi, Japanese millennials use Americanized English words over domestic Japanese that Boomers and Greatest Generation still speak.

Introduction of loanwords from other languages is a natural and historical phenomenon as various cultures around the world interact with one another. Hence the presence of all of the French, Latin and Greek words in English. It is generally not indicative of one culture "imposing itself" on another. More often than not, it is a result of healthy interactions and mutual understandings between various cultures.

People don't understand that there is nothing pure
What you consider today as pure was considered a vulgur some centuries ago
Today people come up and say
Hey see I am speaking pure Hindi
      huh! Pure and Hindi
      Hindi is distortion of Sanskrit
      kup(well) to kuan
      grit(ghee) to ghee
      all distortion
      and then comes Urdu
      so has happened
      will happen
and is happening to all languages
Thamizh itself code switches good enough into English

None of the languages is purest language.. But beautiful and one of the oldest.. Definitely older than English, Sanskrit and Hindi..
Tamil Vowels and Consonants are called as Soul and Body. The grammar is based on how a Soul and Body involve in creating sound. For example a soul cannot directly contact another Soul, it has to contact through Body only. Similarly Body cannot create sound by its own. Body is just a medium/material. The Tamil vowels are common for any language in the world. Example B,C,D,G,P,T,V has E sound in it and F,H,J,K,L,M,N,S,X,Z has A sound in it and Q has U sound in it and Y has I sound in it. W - double U (UU) it has U sound. R has “ah” sound but this is not in english as a separate vowel. In fact “ah” is the base for all proper sounds created from mouth. Do not consider shh, iff sound which, these are not in Tamil. You can create lot more sounds like these from your mouth, but those cannot be taken as proper sounds since you cannot have a proper consonent(body) position. Yes, Consonants are just positions of the mouth/tongue/lips. If you tell “ah” continuously meanwhile close your mouth and open you will get “Amma”. If you tell “ah” continuously and stop while you close your mouth and start again while you open you will get “Appa”. “iP” and “iM” are same positions only difference is “iM” is nasal. Similarly Vallinam and Mellinam in Tamil follows.
The Tamil grammar/language is based on how Soul and Body interacts. Tamil: Uyir ezhuthukkal (soul letters) are natural sounds that Humans make. Examples...
ஆ Ah - when one gets pain
ஈ Ee - when one laughs
ஊ Uu - when one drops unexpectedly (whoops)
ஏ Hey - In anger or when one alerts (Hey! watch out)
ஐ ii - when one exclaims
ஓ Oo - when one understands (Oh oh! now I understand)
ஒள Ouu - when one fears of sudden pain (Ouch!)
These expressions are common to any Human irrespective of language or region. Because these are natural sounds from inside us out of natural expressions. That is why these sounds are called as Uyir (soul) in Tamil.
