I love all 3 videos, but you left out how to put the membrane around the bathroom vents. I'm about to do my roof, and i have 4 different vents i have to work around. Do I end and begin the membrane at each vent, or is there another way? Please respond, or do a video regarding that area. Thanks for everything. Take care and God bless, Greg
Hello and thanks for your instructions and info, super! Do you have a video on green flat roof, ie, flat roof with plants? Install over new construction, concrete roof Thank you🙏
Wow, I love the idea. Could edge flashing be installed on the final roof layer to help with wind events. ? Maybe a skinny layer of the membrane could be installed on the final drip edge to seal any possibility of leaking? South Florida wind can get crazy. Ian tore up quite a few roofs.
Great video, but there is not enough time spent on WHAT PRODUCTS ARE YOU USING? I don't see any links to product sites or where to get it or what to ask for if it's available in stores like Home Depot or Lowe's.
Dear Mr. Naas, Hope this comment finds you and family well! I am in desperate need of skylight repair, though I can try to do it on my own, I need the doctor to look into it and advise on the right way to go. I live in Rockville, MD, so not sure if you or one of your skilled sons would be able to make it here, if not, was wondering if there is a possibility to hop on a 10mins video call with you to show you where the leak is and for your advise. It’s really hard to find a good repair person here, they just want to replace the skylight and consequently, make $$$ out of it. Watching your videos on UA-cam has given me substantial info that it’s not as bad as they say it is plus, you’re trying to help people out by showing them they don’t need to spend thousands of $$ on replacement, hence my trust in you. Would be great if we can please connect. Thank you!
@@FlatRoofDoctor Oh, well we do have some words that sounds quite alike. Probably due to both Afrikaans and Swedish being Germanic. I once had a cab customer from South Africa who was selling brandalarms and we had a laugh about the similarities between our languages.
On the parapet wall, putting coping metal ON TOP of the membrane is 100% better. The way you did it has a potential leak from underneath the membrane to where you installed the drip edge. Definitely not 100% waterproof installation.
It’s always enjoyable and educational to watch someone who knows what he is doing.
Thank you so Much. Really appreciated. your demonstration is amazing.
I have no experience but uour videos are a bomb. Learning a lot from it. Keep up the good work.
Your vids are the bomb dude keep them coming. Ive been in the industry for 10 years
