Thank you for uploading.
Huge difference!!! Looks fantastic 😊
I have a 1970’s house too! I’m inspired. I have the exact same lava rock wall. 🌋
I have the same fireplace but way bigger. I was ready to pull the trigger on a $20,000 remodel quote BUT when I came across your video right now, I think I might attempt it myself!!! At least the removal part. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO!! 🙌
$20,000?!?!?! 😱😱 you can do it! 😃😃
Same! Thank you so much for this video.
I wonder what’s behind my ugly stone? Thank you for showing how dang hard it was to get off! Bless your heart…so determined, I will be wearing gloves!
It looks Sooooooo Much better!! 😻
Great job, so fresh!
Love it!!!
Love it! It turned out amazing!
Oh my I have that tank top with the cactus 🌵🌵
It is absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you so much! 🌼
So much better, I have that faux stone that I was thinking of painting but not sure that would look very good. I know there isn’t any brick under mine, unfortunately.
Wow! Looks great! I have a similar stone fireplace and what to place a mantle. How many inches away is the base of the mantle to the opening of the fireplace? I what to show my husband that this will look good.
Love it..
Looks great however, about to cover mine with stone 🤣
Looks great! only thing I would've done different is kept the original brick color instead of painting it white but no biggie.
WOW!! What a transformation. Looks awesome!
No!!! The stone is beautiful!!!!!!!
I’ve gotten a lot of response that people liked the stone too! I thought about keeping it, but it wasn’t even “real” stone. It was made out of cement and it smelled 😷 in the end we like how it turned out. Thanks for watching 🥰🥰
Wow, I want to do this so bad. My fireplace is hideous
Go for it!!
It's a putty knife
How long did this take u
Because brick fireplaces were popular in the 1960s and 70s the rock was an 80s thing!
I'm sorry but I liked the original one better! You did a good job & shared some good ideas tho.
I have the same 70's fireplace. I hate it do much, but many people, including my husband like it. I think it would be good in a cabin in the woods.😆
Nice bricks it's going to look great when u change it
The mantle is only the top. The side is called a surround.
What was the name of the tool you rented?
I have same question. I had a friend who used one, refused to wear earplugs, and it caused hearing damage.
Looks like a rotary hammer. Possibly a demolition hammer but I think it’s a rotary hammer.
Mistake. This will look dated soon and you will wish you had the classic stone look
The stone is seriously dated and ugly. As she said, it's not even real stone. Brick is classic. Even with this overlay treatment. (whatever it's called. Lol)
