    Part 1: • Billionaire & Former P...
    --------
    Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy delved into the stark differences between life as a millionaire and a billionaire. Ramaswamy, who stepped down from his role as chairman of Roivant to run for president, has experienced both financial states. He acknowledges that while reaching the first million was challenging, becoming a billionaire was substantially harder. Reflecting on his lifestyle changes, Ramaswamy reveals that personal luxuries and conveniences, such as private jet travel, are significant upgrades that aid in managing time and family commitments. Despite his wealth, his family maintains a relatively modest lifestyle without multiple luxurious homes. Importantly, Ramaswamy treasures the autonomy and freedom that accompany significant wealth. This financial independence allows him to voice his beliefs without fear of repercussions. Nevertheless, he notes the irony that many billionaires remain restrained in expressing their opinions despite their wealth. The pursuit of happiness, he suggests, is not strictly tied to accumulating more money or material comfort.

    A good way to really understand the difference between 1 million and 1 billion is to look at it from the view of time...1 million seconds is about 12 days...1 billion seconds is alil over 32 years...that's a huge difference 💯

    Post Luxury. There is a great video explaining the idea of Post Luxury. The newly rich indulge in every luxury. After a while, luxury becomes "normal". They have entered Post Luxury. This is when you start seeing rich folks driving "regular" cars and wearing Walmart t-shirts. Good answer, be grateful for what you have, there’s not much of a difference to his life since his interest are not materialistic but he knows the importance of time. Time spent acquiring money to acquire stuff is pretty pointless.

      Having money is like when you were a kid and finally got a toy you wanted. But then after a month you get bored and stop playing with it.
      ITs the same fleeting feelings once you achieve it. Thats why they say it cant make you happy - cuz it really cant. Can just give situations of happiness, not actually make you happy.

  • @dopemcee
    @dopemcee 8 місяців тому +2

    You know what goes through my mind when I hear ppl like him speak....just think of his age, he is 38(?), yet, he carries himself as if he is a wise 55 year old experienced person. Then you look at the Camrons and other black stars that are way older than him and they act and present this perpetual adolescence about them even at 50 years old.
    Our role models(atleast whats sold through the media of supposed black role models) are often so juvenile in comparison to what other groups present.
    Shoutout to him...I disagree woth his entire existence of using tokenism for white acceptance but he made something of himself...good foe him

    • @sugadre123
      @sugadre123 7 місяців тому

      Most of your statement sounds so good but then that last line almost sounds like the same thing that you were speaking against in the first part. It was like a parting low blow. Not sure why you think that this guy working hard and making something of himself is about white acceptance. Thats harsh.

The difference between now and the Billi, which I think is a goal my kids will finish is my wife and I came from NOTHING, and are grinding- a grind my kids will never know. When I'm working at the billion, we will be completely comfortable and never concerned about bills or needs. Money doesn't buy happiness but debt sure comes with stress...

      Yeah, and enough is enough. Just because it’s been that way doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be fixed. Sycophant, what’s your point? He’s just reiterating how obvious it is to underscore that we’ve gotten comfortable with it. He wasn’t saying it as if he had an epiphany, a strike-oil moment, dude. Don’t you recognize sarcasm when you hear it? He gets the dry, delayed humor from his comedy background. 😂

That being said the public can't affect me one bit. I can literally say openly that I'm voting for Trump and its like just another day. Boring business makes alot of money. Find business that people need daily and you'll be successful. I'm an immigrant by the way(black) America is the greatest country under heaven. TRUMP 2024!!

      Don't let the wealthy people on tv fool you. Most millionaires and billionaires aren't on tv. Most live quiet boring lives. If you grew up on hiphop. We think rich means lavish lifestyle. That's why so many of us are obsessed with material things. So the millionaires and billionaires who live in the public can get cancelled because they usually have to speak on mainstream issues. But a vast majority of wealthy people live in anonymity.
