Thank you @ralphmellor1909, @user-wy7xv8cj2u, @NancyHole, and @aixmhros for suggesting this! As you may have noticed I went in order and reacted first to Lara's original (or at least the first one with lyrics) and only then to Dimash's performance.
👍😍This may well be the last reaction by a reactor I see before I switch to more or less entirely offline living for a while. I couldn't be happier than that it's you reacting to this performance by Dimash. First experiencing Lara's incomparably beautiful original. Then "Ow, wow, nuts, insane, keeping everyone awake, a stunning performance of a totally different song" -- and with facial expressions to match. 💯🔥😂
Спасибо за ваш комментарий! I try not to explore further than the music, unless we ever get to meet in person. I trust most people who love music as much as he does are usually good people. We have a saying, there is no elegant way to translate it, but it goes something like this: "He who sings, thinks no evil".
Actually, I'm ok with a cover sounding exactly like the original in a singing competition. What baffles me is when people actually publish what the call a cover, and it turns out it's just them singing the original song instead of the original singer. 😂 I agree, both versions are really good, but I that is also partly BECAUSE they are different. If Dimash copied Lara's version, I would have preferred hers. He made it his in this performance.
Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than twelve(12) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. Lara and Dimash both are great singers and you cannot compare them. I love that Dimash when covering a song and makes it his own. Check out Hello by Lionel Ritchie or Opra 2 by Vitas that Dimash covers.
Agreed on your first point. I used to love Hello by Lionel Richie, I'll be sure to check that one out. The other one I do not know, but I have added it to the list as well. Thank you!
Dear Aleks, Thanks for your reaction. My thouhgt on both: Dimash is a rollercoaster, a feast, but something to see from a distance. A superstar. Lara is more like a hug. Like a friend who is talking to you, tells you a story. And that in a way like she is telling it for the first time. She's more close, intimate, as if she is talking to you alone. But she is also a superstar. Can't wait what you have to say about Lara and Johnny with Requiem pour un Fou for 80.000 in Stade de France. A big concert, but also intimate (for a differnt reason).😍
Dear Gerda, that is an excellent way of describing the difference between the two! I have not yet gotten to Requiem Pour Un Fou, but its turn will come. 😊
Random comment, but I haven't heard this in a long time and so it made me notice how much his English has improved. I still don't know that I love the last part of this particular performance. For some reason it does sound more yell-y than my ears can appreciate. Nonetheless, I think he's a superb talent, a total unicorn, and I do love all his other Lara covers, especially Love of Tired Swans. He certainly does her justice. There are certain moments when you can see Lara coming through him, and not just during covers. It's quite extraordinary. Lovely reaction. I knew you would be able to contrast them without comparing. Too many people get caught up in that instead of just appreciating what each one brings to the song. We can even have our favorite, or not like one at all, without getting into mean comparisons.
Thank you so much, Elizabeth! ❤ If a cover is done well, it's done well. It can sound exactly the same as the original which is a skill in itself, or completely different, which is an art. Either way, as long as it doesn't grate on the ears or ruins the song, each one has its worth. Dimash always brings something different to a cover and whether it's pleasing to someone or not, it cannot be denied that he has a huge talent. Now this is going to be random. 😂 Personally, I am not a fan of the "moaning" covers that were popular at some point. You know the ones that slow down the song where singers tend to whisper and moan rather than sing. Then again, some people like that... I noticed the same thing you did, as I first heard his Smoke (done a lot later than this) and this one came later on for me. His English is much better now, although I understand he was learning the lyrics for Adagio in one week.
Oh, I think it is an excellent rendition of Adagio and I actually like that it's nothing like Lara's. He broke my eardrums at some point towards the end, in a good way. That would be giving it a 110% I think. 😉
A pleasure, there is always something to react to with Dimash. Even when you hear him a million times, he always brings something new to the table. 💜💜💜
Thank you. I'm sure you're correct, this being a contest he put on a show. He was 22 here. The contest was "The Singer" in China. Each contestant performed a total of 13 times. It was here, in his first performance that he sang SOS, and gained worldwide popularity.
I totally agree with you Aleks; Dimash has to take the song to his field, even more so in a contest where he must show his vocal abilities (Which for me are unique); but it is also true that while one takes us to a euphoric creshendo, the other wraps it in a wonderfully pleasant emotion that floods your soul. As far as I'm concerned both They take us to different places. Always with technical complexity and elegance. Thank you for your reaction and sensitivity.
Strange as it may sound, I didn’t immediately accept this version. For me, it was initially over the top. Before Dimash, I couldn't stand singers screaming. But he taught me to appreciate and enjoy this technique when it's done professionally.
Hello again Elena! ❤ As Lara's version was the first one I listened to, this caught me off guard as well. However, when I stopped comparing them in my mind, this one clicked in place. Screaming does sound different when it's just yelling vs. using a proper technique to guide the voice, so I know what you mean.
Dimash always leaves me breathless. It was enjoyable to watch your facial reactions while listening to this song. Thank you for the breakdown of the differences in the style of singing between Dimash and Lara Fabian. I did love her version of this song as well. Dimash said that he has been a fan and admirer of Lara ever since he was a child.
Thank you so much! I'm not a music expert, I'm just describing what I hear with my ordinary human ears, in plain English. Glad that we seem to be hearing the same things. 😊 I do know they respect each other. Makes sense, as they are both amazing singers.

👉 For non musicians: The language of music is Italian. Adagio is an Italian word and is used in music to denote tempo, meaning: 'calm', 'slow'. In this song, adagio roughly means: If it is to be, then it will be. The interpretation of the song by Dimash is brilliant. He touches my heart and soul ... every time. The shaking of his head and the trembling of the chin has nothing to do with the vibrato. It just goes to show that Dimash can be a little nervous and tense too. It was about a lot. In the previous episode 5 (Uptown Funk) he knocked everyone out of their seats, but still only took a back seat. Either he won now or he would go home. Of course, Dimash won Episode 6. 'Adagio in g minor' - today, known as one of the most popular compositions of classical music; composed of alleged fragments of Tomaso Albinoni's; in 1958, joined together by Remo Giazotto (* 4. Sept. 1910; † 26. Aug. 1998 - Italian musicologist, music critic, and composer). Camilo Sesto wrote 1985 the original lyrics in Spanish to this piece. Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics in Italian and English. Composers Rick Allison, Dave Pickell and Lara Fabian arranged the piece into a pop song. Since then, this song has been part of Lara Fabian's repertoire. * Lara Fabian, *1970, is a fantastic Belgian-Canadian pop singer and songwriter. She has sold over 20 million records worldwide and is one of the best-selling Belgian artists of all time. In 2017, she returned permanently to Montreal, Quebec, to be with her family. At the age of eight she studied for 10 years at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. She is classical trained, speaks 6 languages and sings in 13 languages. Her albums have been awarded gold and platinum in the whole world. Lara is a great role model for Dimash. Even as a child Dimash wanted to be on stage with Igor Krutoy and Lara Fabian one day ... and for Dimash the dream came true of the 65th birthday of Igor Krutoy in 2019. They sang: 'Ti Amo Cosi / I Love You So' - ua-cam.com/video/XaQFfqC3lnU/v-deo.html * Dimash - Adagio - The Singer 2017 - ua-cam.com/video/m41Kafa14ro/v-deo.html * Dimash - Closing Ceremony of New Wave in Sochi, Sept.2018 (No faulty microphone) - ua-cam.com/video/JeoHpw9TRio/v-deo.html * Dimash Adagio - Gala Concert ''Slavic Bazaar'' 2018 - ua-cam.com/video/z0fTEk9t9bM/v-deo.html * Baroque piece, Albinoni´s famous Adagio - Hauser-Adagio - ua-cam.com/video/kn1gcjuhlhg/v-deo.html * Lara Fabian - Adagio - ua-cam.com/video/jKtNuLG5jAo/v-deo.html * Trio (Lara, Aida Garifullina, Dimash) -'Ti Amo Cosi / I Love You So' - ua-cam.com/video/XaQFfqC3lnU/v-deo.html * Dimash - Mademoiselle Hyde - ua-cam.com/video/mRIOIiVLuIk/v-deo.html * Lara Fabian - Mademoiselle Hyde - ua-cam.com/video/DuSDdjU4S8Mv/v-deo.html=hCyej7qrwWY * Dimash Qudaibergen (Rehearsal) + Aida Garifullina - ADAGIO - ua-cam.com/video/-oVYHOIknSM/v-deo.html (two performances in one video) (Thanks to all Dears who helped to complete the information)

@@AleksReacts I can’t believe you still haven’t heard SOS, his trademark song, the song the most reactors start their introduction with Dimash from. You're clearly going down a very unusual way.😄😃
Dimash pays a beautiful tribute in a breathtaking way to Lara. This singer is exceptional and can do whatever he wants with his voice but I just prefer Lara's version. They are two great performers who respect each other.
Dimash's cover blows me away every time I hear it. Musicality, performance, passion! But it introduced me to Lara, and Lara's singing of it, and her many other songs. She too blows me me away every time. I yearn for, love, and want to be loved as much by, my lover. Again it's musicality, performance, passion -- but Lara's! Utterly different experiences; mood chooses which will slay me on any given night. 💖🎼✅
Exactly this: "mood chooses which will slay me on any given night"! Our musical tastes seem to match well, Ralph even though they range from Lara to Dimash to Ren. All of it is just that - really, really good music! Thank you for sticking around and listening to all this with me. ❤
@AleksReacts…….I believe this arrangement was just for this competition. Dimash had scored quite low the week before so he was literally singing for his life on the show. Also Lara was not singing in a competition. Thanks

Thank you again! ❤ I am glad it's clear from the reaction that it's real. I'd rather not do a reaction at all than pretend that I like or dislike something for clicks. I've been taught all my life "If you're going to do something, do it right, or don't do it at all". I am continuing with Dimash for sure, mainly because I generally like his stuff. Thank you! I have 300+ requests, many for Dimash's music. I will go down the list, song by song, but I don't expect to cover multiple versions of the same song anytime soon, if ever. You've also mentioned several I have already reacted to. If you're interested, please just search Dimash on my channel and you'll find my reactions Ikanaide, Olimpico, Sinful Passion, etc.

Hello there USA! ❤❤❤ So, Dimash has reached US now. Cool! ❤ That's 5 requests right there, added, but prepare to be patient. I'll get to most of them one by one. 😉

I can’t believe you still haven’t heard SOS, his trademark song, the song the most reactors start their introduction with Dimash from. You're clearly going down a very unusual way.😄😃
I tend to do that in life, so I guess I'm staying true to form. 😂 Ok, ok, I'll do that one next. 😜
Dimash pays a beautiful tribute in a breathtaking way to Lara. This singer is exceptional and can do whatever he wants with his voice but I just prefer Lara's version. They are two great performers who respect each other.
I really felt like I was listening to two different songs, both really good, just not the same song...
Thanks
@lindahake1666 It would be rather funny if Lara sang in the competition for new artists, though. Would it not? 😊
Grazie. 🙏 🙏🙏🙏 please please THE STORY OF ONE SKY live in Almaty concert , sul suo canale you tube, part 3, minute 25 . NO fancam. Thank you 🇮🇹❤️🇰🇿 dall’Italia
Added to the list! Grazie. Saluti all'italia! ❤
i discover Dimash at opening ceremony of european games back at 2019, if i rememer right.
a different Lose Yourself
Kasey Chambers - Lose Yourself (Eminem Cover) LIVE @ Civic Theatre, Newcastle AU
i think she deserves an oscar as the original version of it !
Oh, so your first time hearing Dimash was with Olimpico. 😊
Kasey was already added to the list at your request on June 21st...
@@AleksReacts yeah but the comment might gather more fans of this artist.
I certainly don't mind. I'm just trying to let you know that I am paying attention. 😉

Prefiero 1000% Dimash.. ❤🤗🇨🇱
Vete donde picó el pollo.no tienes el like de las dears.
Thank you for such kind words about chickens. So, it is you who represents all the Dears globally. Good to know...
Just nuts.. I agree... Thank you for a genuine, authentic reaction. I appreciate your candor.
Thank you so much! What's the point of a reaction if it's not candid, eh? 😊
@@AleksReacts Years of reactions for clicks, chock full of zesty nonsensical crap by people who wouldn't know a transition from ape shit, frankly. 🤣 Authentic and candid, extremely nice. Thank you, he's an original and a genius.
🌿🍃 You will never be disappointed.
Although, he did disappoint a bit with Smoke - it was just off for me. Just can't see him that way... 😂
