The title and thumbnail caught my interest, and I’m glad I clicked because this was an amazingly well made video. Quick editing and awesome production skills, along with an understanding of Tame Impala’s sound made this super entertaining. Your song you made as an example is fucking dope too. I’d stream it!
The production and under cuts are so amazing! Not sure if all fans hear the production layers I hear, but with the mezermizing vocals layered with the keyboard mix, this is why Tame Impala has inherited there signature sound, like Steely Dan or other unmistakable artists. Brilliant!
@@KavanDignam Oh I got much better at playing the piano , I understand chords better and Im starting to produce with better quality and creativity. Im telling you once i get more equipment I’m going to be on a different level. The only thing holding me back is equipment. And wanting midis and keyboards and better quality plugins. Just thugging it out rn until I get the money
Is it just me or is this the most complex tutorial of all time like I feel like I learnt nothing and something all in the same time but good video though.
To add for guitar: Look into all kinds of shapes u can do using barre chords. You can get cool 9th chords sometimes very easily with simple patterns. Barre chords are so op.
I’m back luv the vibes of the vid your editing has really come a long way kav don’t forget about me even tho I don’t watch like I used to I luv the beats and music will always have a special place in my heart..
I've always said too many artists don't understand percussion and the ones that do really stand out. Dj shadow and kevin parker obviously do even from innerspeaker to whatever he's up to now.
Where do you find that drum kit? I want that Ludwig sound so bad. I see you draw it in the piano roll so it’s looks like “addictive drums” or superior drummer
@KavanDignam I also saw that you will cover The Alchemist at some point. I hope you give us a bit of an inside in the Drumless scene. Anyway keep up the work, I am eager to see more regardless. 🫡
It’s so true how prominent his drums are, my fav song of his that showcases exactly this, is Beverly Laurel, what a masterpiece ua-cam.com/video/O4A6kWeUyA0/v-deo.htmlsi=uwCA-_O_aSKWAvQH

Hey kavan can you explain what hip hop elements does Kevin use in his songs cause I don’t hear it
his influence in hip hop is very apparent maybe not elements
The drums on eventually are reminiscent of hip hop, but that's about it tbh
Where do you find that drum kit? I want that Ludwig sound so bad. I see you draw it in the piano roll so it’s looks like “addictive drums” or superior drummer

Sorry but it ain’t a tame impala song without live intruments… the drums just sound fake and it just ain’t as authentic
Lol your one of those guys
Oh yeah just buy an entire drum set and live instruments for 1 video
dont you EVER fucking bring that less i know the better music video
you cant come close to replicating tame impala without using real instruments in recording
