You've got to realize though that blitz was hurt just as much as stolas was on that day at ozzie's. That day specifically made him super distant. And even before that, he was afraid of attachment because attachment usually leads to pain, especially romantically for him. Remember, the reason he is so obsessed with M&M's marriage is because he sees them as literally the perfect relationship. Blitz cares, but cant express it yet. The fact that he initiated the text this time shows just how much he cares. Every other text from him was a response to stolas. This one was him messaging stolas first

Yeah that's true, but I still think Stolas deserves better. It shouldn't be someone giving chocolate and another giving crumbs in the relationship and it certainly doesn't make Blitz a bad character. I'm still angry with him, but he's still a great guy, I just think Stolas deserves more than what he's getting.

Blitzø & Stolas have the potential to learn (and heal) so much by listening to each other's experiences. Their traumas* and coping mechanisms are almost like puzzle pieces with how they fit together. But it also means that they are so well-matched that their potential to *really* hurt the other person is significantly greater - as we see here. Right now, their relationship is selfish - neither of them have tried to really understand the other's perspective. Season 2 is giving opportunities to SEE how the other one lives, but the characters also need time to reflect upon how the small pieces they are learning about the other that has informed their interactions in the past (and the future) to break their toxic habits.
We, the audience, have seen so much more background lore to understand the motivations of Stolas & Blitzø. We have also seen the individual moments of growth. For an example ( I haven't seen too many others comment upon yet), when Striker tells Stolas "some of US had everything taken away by ******* like you", "I don't have to listen to YOUR bullshit", and "[you always] try to talk over US", it seems that Stolas actually has a moment of recognition of the very real class differences between himself and the imps, including Blitzø. The racism Blitzø encounters in the hospital frames this moment very nicely for the audience. [To me], Stolas seems to suddenly realize that Blitzø very likely ALSO resents being interrupted, and that he (Stolas) frequently interrupts or talks over everyone.
Look at all his text messages again, in this new context. Fuckin' Ouch.

Also, according to Blitz, Mox and Millie are both hotties, which isn't the main strength of their perfect relationship but it's definitely a bonus for Blitz.

I saw somewhere that the petals falling in the end might be a reference to ‘he loves me he loves me not’ and wanted to analyse it and DAMN THAT HURT
So the first time a petal falls is when stoles gets a text from blitz - _he loves me_
The second time a petal falls is when blitz doesn’t reply to his invitation - _he loves me not_
The third time is when Stolas lies on the bed, probably justifying it (he’s probably just busy, or maybe he doesn’t feel like it etc) - _he loves me_
The fourth time is zooming out - _he loves me not_
They’re setting stolitz up for heartbreak AND I DONT LIKE THE FORESHADOWINGS
I've been seeing that float around a lot. The first thing I thought was another foreshadow to Stolas's possible death. Second was I saw that theory. Then a thought hit me that it might be the death of the love Stolas has for Blitz.
Either way--it's painful.
“You okay with that?” Blitzø actually started the conversation and it was more than 2 words and it was out of concern. Compare that to all the other text conversations. I find that huge. But… then he didn’t answer Stollas when he said he could come visit. Two steps forward, one step back.
While I don't disagree that Blitzø should treat Stolas better, he keeps letting it go because he knows Blitzø is a big-ass bag of untreated trauma with poor communication skills. It's not going to suddenly switch just because someone wants him to, especially someone Blitzø sees as so far above him, not just physically but socially.
Like their relationship started with Blitzø being BOUGHT by Stolas's dad with the payment of $5 and a slim fit condom & being forced into it by his own dad in order to steal from them. Not exactly a good starting point, especially 25 years later.
I believe that they can work it out, but I also know that it's gonna take a LOT of time & Blitzø needs to figure his shit out first.
Blitzø's "He can get hurt?" line really hit me right in the feels. His facial expression and tone of voice just shows how surprised he is that a demon as powerful as him and so high up in the hierarchy could get that injured. And the scene right after? I've never gotten so emotional from a text chain before. I know Blitzø is afraid of getting emotionally close to anyone, for fear of driving them away, but that's exactly what he's going to do if he doesn't stop. The fact that Stolas is just accepting it is absolutely heartbreaking.
It also shows his inexperience with the weaponry used to harm royalty
And it also hits harder when you consider that it might have less to do with Stolas' position as a royal, and more to do with the fact that, as we saw from Blitzø's fever dream in Truth Seekers, he views Stolas as this untouchable figure of immense power and prestige. In Blitzø's head, Stolas is invincible, because with the way he views him right now in his own mind - with almost worship and reverence, and plenty of fear as well - Blitzø can't imagine a world without Stolas in it. And he came close to that.
Moxxie: "What does he look like your highness?"
Stolas: "Sexy?"
Moxxie: "THAT'S STRIKER SIR."
The fact that that's all Stolas said, and that that's all it took for Moxxie to know. This show's writing is excellent. And I love that we finally got to see Moxxie win not one, but two full on fights in this episode. He is a hired hitman for a reason.

Blitzo doesn't see himself in a romantic relationship with Stolas. The plot hasn't quite cleared up the insecurities he has with being an object of desire for Stolas and nothing more. Although Blitzo recognizes there's something else there, he's not prepared to address it. I don't think it's fair to expect Blitz to be throwing himself at Stolas yet, especially since Blitzo seems to have issues dealing with people he's close to. He's clingy and needy, possibly from fear of loss/abandonment, and the idea that Stolas can bleed, and thus be killed, might make him afraid to go any further.

The last point also stood out to me bc on the one hand, someone said Stolas being hurt might've given Blitzø slightly more 'confidence' in approaching him since it shows him that Stolas isn't invincible or anything like that and thus not as much higher as Blitzø as the latter might've thought. But on the other hand your point is also very good imo.
The reason for Loona not talking is because her VA lost her fiancé to cancer recently.
While I get what you are saying at the end, I also think you are missing something key. It's a bit of irony, but Blitz is being distant to protect himself from getting too emotionally involved so he doesn't get hurt. That means that he is unfortunately hurting those around him, and in so doing, is going to end up in the very situation he tried to avoid.
Keep in mind: His father didn't really care for him; his mother likely died; his childhood best friend abandoned him; and while we know he has sister in rehab, we don't know what happened between them, but we do know they were close (being in a show together), and now are distant. So, in his life, everyone that Blitz cared for and was close to abandoned him one way or another. As such, it makes him scared of being emotionally open, because he is afraid of it happening again.
That was a big part of why he was so upset after Ozzie's. Not only was his former best friend making fun of him -- and was joined by Blitz's ex, Verosika -- but when Stolas had a chance to stand up for Blitz, Stolas instead hid behind a menu and pretended not to see anything. It was a moment when Blitz needed someone, and instead wound up feeling abandoned. Made just that much worse by the fact that in the same situation, Millie came to Moxxie's defense.
Now, I'm not condoning Blitz's behavior -- as I said before, by doing so, he is creating the very situation he is trying to avoid -- but I can understand where it is coming from.
Also, I'm pretty certain that as the series continues, Blitz will slowly open up to Stolas more and more. Similar to how he hasn't been picking on Moxxie as much since "Truth Seekers."

19:54 Remember, Stolas is a goetia and a prince of hell. They are seen and indestructible and god like since only holy weapons can kill them. So it’s not surprising that Blitz is shocked that he can get seriously injured.
That ending is gut wrenching, but authentic. Emotionally abused people like Stolas will latch onto whatever crumbs of affection they get. I'm so glad Stolas is seeing how bad Blitz is for him - if he's going to heal, he needs to be willing to give up on what he's been settling for, but it cuts like knife, thinking (knowing) that if you give it up, nothing better will ever cone your way.
You also have to realize that Bliz is also in a very similar boat. Everyone he's ever been close to or loved as either abandoned him or died... (theories on that last part). Thus Blitz has a hard time opening up emotionally for fear of it happening all over again. Blitz is going to have to overcome this to have better relationships with the people around him, especially Stolas. Then there's the fact that you can see he genuinely cares for Stolas he just doesn't know how to express it without opening up ... again something he will have to do. I mean look at how Blitz has been with M&M after the episode "Truth Seekers."
Stolas is royal, he can't really be hurt by conventional weapons, so that's where that shock came from.
Blitzø is concerned about Stolas, his reaction shows that, but he's as broken as Stolas and doesn't know how to express it.
Stolas doesn't have anyone else, not another adult, anyway. He's never seen how a healthy romantic relationship looks, or even how a healthy friendship looks. He's put up with Blitzø because he was his first friend, and his first lover (Stella was a duty, a task to be completed, on both ends, so that doesn't count).
He's going to effectively be alone if/when he cuts off Blitzø, and that's a terrifying thought for anyone.
But maybe now he's finally got his eyes open and knows that no matter what, no matter how they may actually feel about one another, this is not healthy and it's not helping.

More than anything, Blitz is deeply insecure. I think he definitely cares but is afraid to be open with Stolas.
I got incredible emotional whiplash at the end of this episode. I was pausing all the text messages to read them all and I honestly took Blitzø's "git bevver swoon" as him putting in literally more effort than he ever has. Like, 3 words more than the one letter responses he had been giving, and it was the first time Blitzø initiated any kind of talk between them. But then the lack of response right after just made me so sad.
I think Stolas saw that the one text was more than he had ever gotten but still, it hurts so bad to just get ghosted after that and after seeing the "he's typing" notification. Broke my heart!

When Blitz had the realization that Stolas can get hurt, at first I thought he was just surprised he was physically hurt since he’s immortal. But then I realized, Blitz is slowly coming to terms with the fact that Stolas can be hurt emotionally just like everyone else, and Blitz a big part of his pain. I’m gonna cry if I keep typing! 😂🫠😭😭

Something I’ve not seen anyone point out before-the text Blitzø sends, the get well text, was the first conversation between them he initiated. Every other text message chain started with a message Stolas sent
I am too disappointed that Stolas didn't get sth more or a visit but Blitz is struggling so much. Since he started this thing with Stolas he's kept it non-romantic cause he's so afraid of intimacy. As we saw in his dilutions, it's obvious that Blitz hates himself, and that's why he's not even trying to fix his problems, he's made this terrible image of himself that can't be any other way. Especially after Ozzie's he's realized how much he has messed stolas' life up and can't seem to get over that he makes the people around him miserable, and that's obvious since he keeps being Distant, even through texts. After seeing what could've happened to Stolas, the importance of the situation he's shocked, he understood Stolas could be hurt and he wasn't there to help him, he could've lost him and that's just beating him up more with guilt. The invitation to the hospital from Stolas seems so personal and he can't even see him Right now i believe, he's slowly digging his own Grave. It's sad, he could be so much more but he's scared, and that's what so interesting about this character for me, i want to see the development and im truly enjoying the suffering of the slow burn.

Yeah. Plus if anything we've seen how throughout the show that he's not exactly a good writer. Everything he writes anywhere is super short, with tonnes of spelling errors, and nothing additional. Even if Blitz mean more with the messages, them all being this short seems completely normal for him. And ngl I think Stolas knows this.
Being traumatized actually is an excuse, you can't expect him to "just get over" the million of psychological issues he has, it's a very slow process.

My favorite detail is, well, probably the fact that Blitz was shocked that Stolas could get hurt. Though I wanted to comment about Moxie clearly being better at hand to hand type combat than he used to be. Cause the same hat guy and friends got beat down badly. Also, I don't think Stolas was serious about the situation at first, cause he didn't realize that he should be.
Blitz didn't take Striker seriously. Hearing that Stolas got hurt, Blitz shown concern but can't express it. He should have gone to him.
I'm concern about Octavia. it seems Stella and her brother will make sure Octavia doesn't get Stolas's job and everything her father owns. Stella cares very little about her child. Octavia is going to be upset after hearing what happened to her father.
Moxxie is improving a lot. That is cool. Hope he and Millie get stronger and better in other episodes.
Trauma can justify why blitz feels the way he does BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN ITS HEALTHY FOR STOLAS TO SETTLE FOR THAT. I think ppl keep missing that

I wouldn't say "grow up". I feel like putting it that way trivializes his problems as kind of "oh, you're just being childish now."
I seriously love how, when Blitz tells Loona that it's just one little prick, and she won't feel it, she gets a sweet little comforted smile on her face 😭
I think it’s also important to remember that Blitzø and Stolas aren’t in a relationship so although it hurts Stolas to not have Blitzø be affectionate he can’t end a romantic relationship that doesn’t exist. However I think that’s what’s interesting about their relationship, it’s currently at a sort of rock bottom so although it could technically just end all together, I don’t see that happening so the only other way to go is up.
Blitzø is like the wild horse at the beginning of those horse girl movies. If you get too close he gets spooked.
Technically if blitz didn’t give loona her hellbies shot(rabies shot) loona(HIS CHILD) would be in danger of dying from rabies in the next 5 years. So in my opinion blitz did the right thing
Got me in the feels too 😥. For Blitzo, the reason he is so dismissal of Stolaz, I think it's his abandonment issues.
Here's my theory: He's afraid to love, because somebody important left long ago and now he thinks deep inside that he is just unlovable. So if someone gets too close to him, they will figure out his true, unlovable self and leave him. That means every time someone gets too close to him, he leaves first, before that can happen. That means the only stable and lasting relationships that he is comfortable in are transactional. People that can't leave. That means his employees, his adopted daughter (family can't leave, plus she's depentend on him) and of course his very transactional relationship with Stolaz that he is not comfortable to bring to another level.
Plus I think his over the top sex drive is to cover his lack of emotional connection with physical connection. A coping mechanism.
On a side note, I think this is also what happened with Verosika. If you look at her design, she has a heart-shaped Blitzo tattoo on her arm. Crossed out. I think she was actually in love with him and when she told him, he panicked and sabotaged the relationship. Hurt and left her, before she had the chance to abandon him (which was only gonna happen in his head of course).

Some people have commented on how Blitz and Stolas should NOT get together because it would be a very toxic relationship, which I agree, but I think that's based on the idea that people cannot overcome their traumas and form a better relationship with time and proper communication.
Which could happen, especially since Blitz's insecurities seem very deep-rooted, but I think it's fine if the show wants to explore how much of a slow boil it is to work through that level of problems with someone else... especially now that the showrunners finally gave us some continuity, even if it was through an exchange of text messages.
My reading from this episode in regards to blitz is that he has a front to hold up where he is incapable of allowing himself to be emotionally vulnerable and there for someone, like in s1 e6 we learn that blitz hates himself and is unable to "fathom proper intimacy" probably arising from a traumatic event in his past, he doesnt allow anyone to get close to him but is obsessed with m&m and wants what they have, he wants a loving relationship but doesnt allow himself to take the step and break down his walls to allow stolas in. Hiding behind crudity, sex and machismo as thats the only way he can feel something
Even though Stolas does totally deserve better, I don't think it's exactly fair to blame Blitz for acting like that. We've seen time and time again that he has attachment issues, and with the way his and Stolas' relationship has been going, I think he's starting to realize that Stolas does actually care about him as more than a sexual object. He just doesn't know how to truly process those feelings and that's why he didn't know how to respond to Stolas. I really want them to be open and honest with each other, to talk about the issues they both have with relationships, so they can sort them out together and make something work.

The fact that they had an entire b-plot about Loona going to the hospital and her boyfriend Erica lindbeck boyfriend died of colon cancer and is letting her grieve while still being prominent in the episode and still featuring her in the end credits is amazing and a really good job on the hell of a boss team they made an entire b-plot about Loona and never had her speak a line of dialogue that is insane that would have taken a studio of higher proportions weeks and weeks or tons and tons of different ways to get around that and Helluvaboss does it without fail! 😁😍🤩🤓🧡🤓
No, he's emotionally stunted and doesn't know how to deal with tough situations at all. Doesn't excuse his actions at all, just explains them.
Well, I don't think Blitzo could text differently...the Dhorks episode showed that he's terrified of letting people get too close and always ends up hurting them and driving them away, and it's been shown that his relationship with spelling is platonic at best, so he probably never had any schooling...which he is likely self-conscious about on some level. So while he's a dickish texter, he is a dick because of his past. He was genuinely shocked that Stolas got hurt though, so maybe it will be a turning point. Or maybe not... regardless, it is an episode that hits you in the feelz.
I think this is Blitz's last chance to change. The accident should be his wake up call. At least he tried to reply this time. If he can't give more than these crumbs, than Stolas has to move on.
But to be fair, I really hope he can get it rigth, because it is obvious that they care for each other and it would just be sad if they wouldn't come together.

I agree totally that Stolas deserves better but I want blitz to be the one to give him better because blitz also deserves good things and they would be so good to each other if they would just communicate honestly. Even though blitz is so scared to love we have seen how fiercely he loves when he does (M and M and loona} and I absolutely want that kind of love for Stolas because there has been a huge gaping hole of it all his life and blitz needs to know how absolutely adored he is. stolas needs to be totally clear about what he wants from blitz, with straight sentences that leave no room for misunderstanding and blitz, you my dear sir needs to grow a pair.

a detail that gets lost... Blitzø doesn't type a lot of words to ANYONE. not even Millie when she's asking him about his favorite things, assumedly he calls her back instead. He is illiterate and struggles to text/read/write etc. We see it all through the entire show and its no exception here. He uses emoji and speech-to-text usually (badly) so that Git Bevver Swoon was a lot more than it seems./
Also Stolas means only the best but his messages are a anxiety nightmare to try to digest for someone that struggles to read, and doubly so for someone that's insecure in relationships. He frequently says something, panics, changes to something else, panics and says to forget the whole thing. I think those messages are not so easy to read from a perspective of someone that thinks you only like them as a booty call.
Which is the other detail I feel like you might have forgotten? They aren't dating, not even CLOSE to dating. The last honest conversation they have on screen before Western Energy is after Ozzie's Blitzø is the honest straightforward one saying "don't try to trick me into comin into the house when I know this is just about you wanting me to fck you!" after he had tried to turn down Stolas. If a guy was asking you into his place to "cuddle" after acting embarrassed to be seen with you in public...I might not feel so nice toward him. Yet Blitzø STILL wasn't mad at Stolas, he even apologizes for... not being in the mood to "put out".... And to just capo it off, we know Stolas loves Blitz, but he did NOT clarify to Blitz that they were anything but contractual sex.... he just says "ok goodnight" which imo sounds more like he is agreeing with Blitz's fear/statement that its all just physical.

While I fully agree that Stolas has been through so much shit, and that he 100% deserves better than Blitzo seemingly stringing him along, I feel like it’s unfair to put all of the blame for the relationship not working solely on Blitzo’s shoulders. Both of them have been unable to properly communicate with each other, and it’s hurting them both, deeply, in the long run.
They both need serious therapy, but as that’s likely difficult to find in Hell, they both at the very least need to be able to sit down and actually _talk_ to each other.
Stolas needs to know that his affections aren’t one-sided, that Blitzo actually cares for him deeply; it’s just that Blitzo has such a deep and profound amount of self-loathing and self-doubt when it comes to relationships, that he can’t bring himself to believe that Stolas actually loves him back, because Blitzo can’t see anything to love within himself. I think Blitzo needs to feel useful or needed, in order to justify in his mind why people would keep him around. (Loona needs him because he’s her father, who provides for her. Millie and Moxxie need him because he’s their employer, so they depend on him for their income, etc.) Blitzo doesn’t see why Stolas would _need_ him, apart from him providing sex, and so he feels less secure in his standing with Stolas.
Blitzo needs to be told just how important he is to Stolas, because I truly don’t think he knows. Stolas was so isolated his whole life, first by his friend-less childhood, and then by his abusive marriage, so he’s never really developed the communication skills needed for a healthy relationship. But, both in childhood, and then later as adults, Blitzo inadvertently gave Stolas a connection that he desperately needed. Blitzo was a light in the dark, a spark that reignited Stolas’ passion for life again, and represented a possible lifeline out of Stolas’ wretched rut of a life. And so Stolas _clung_ to that lifeline like a drowning man, overcompensating, and barrelling past Blitzo’s boundaries, thus making Blitzo think Stolas was only interested in sex, or was using him as a shiny new toy, but wasn’t interested in him, as a person; when in reality, Stolas was mainly interested in literally _anything_ he thought would allow him to spend time with Blitzo, and sex was just the easiest thing, that he knew they both liked.
I think, until Ozzy’s, Stolas genuinely thought that Blitzo was pretty much fully on board with their arrangement, and was just playing hard to get at times. It wasn’t until Blitzo stated, with literal tears in his eyes, that their relationship was nothing more than Stolas wanting Blitzo to fuck him, that Stolas truly realized how mistaken in his approach he had been. He realized, likely in horror, just how little choice he’d been giving Blitzo in their relationship, up until that point, especially with the Grimoire deal hanging over Blitzo’s head, essentially forcing Blitzo to have sex with Stolas, in order to keep his business running. While Blitzo does seem to enjoy his time with Stolas, he can’t allow himself to see it as anything but transactional, rather than genuine, because that’s how it’s been framed for most of their relationship.
Since Ozzy’s, we can see through the text messages that Stolas has tried hard to course correct things by trying to give Blitzo as much choice as possible on if they spend time together or have sex, and by trying to take the pressure out of the Grimoire deal, but Blitzo is probably more confused by the new dynamic, more than anything, without a proper explanation for why it’s happening.
We know Stolas was researching Asmodeus’ crystals, and had made an appointment to meet with Ozzy, so it’s very likely that he’s looking for a way to give Blitzo the ability to travel to Earth and do his job, without forcing him to rely on Stolas’ grimoire, in order to give them both as equal standing as possible in the relationship. If Stolas can get a crystal for Blitzo, and if he can explain properly that he still wants to spend time with Blitzo, but doesn’t want to force him to, if Blitzo truly doesn’t want to, I think that could potentially be a good first step towards them communicating properly (as long as Blitzo doesn’t misinterpret it as a rejection of sorts, which is possible).

In Blitzo's defense, Stolas is a demon lord, which makes him mostly invincible. So it caught him off-guard that he was actually in danger. It caught Stolas off-guard too.

The funny thing about when Stolas is mocking/egging on Striker, it is actually something one can do to actually survive. If killers have MOs/ fantasies, especially Striker, who wants powerful/rich people to grovel to save themselves. Actually poking at the insecurities can actually put them off and stop them from killing you. The reverse can be true for those who respond violently to negative actions. Depending on the situation, one can save your life. Stolas got smart and he played off the situation as a game. Comparing Striker to Blitzo, saying how much better Blitzo was, "dechubbing" Striker. You will also notice Striker only goes for the kill once Stolas gets dark and defensive. That was Striker's trigger to execute him when Striker thinks he has the most power.

I get your frustration with him acting this way, but in the same time - give him time. For Blitz, he'd much rather Stolas used him as a toy then him offering a healthy relationship. Thats just how his brain works. Dont get me wrong, just like me, he is FULLY aware its not healthy, but... the fear of being in a healthy relationship is paralyzing. Ive broken relationships because my partners were TOO HEALTHY. Ive gotten mad that they didnt hit me or insult me - purely because thats all i know growing up. For Blitz, its his trauma and what he believes he deserves speaking. He doesnt feel worthy of love.

After the final message, the image shows that implies Blitz's typing something, then it disappears. When I watched it, I'm imagining him stopping because he was feeling guilty. Blitz probably assumed that even though Stolas was kidnapped, he couldn't truly get hurt and thought it was another attempt at getting Blitz's attention. Blitz's reaction when he found out Stolas was hurt seemed genuine.
I have no excuses other then what others have said in other comments in regards to how Blitz treats Stolas when he is recovering. But I don't think it's fair to yell at him for taking his adopted daughter - who is literally terrified of shots and doctors/hospital settings - to get said shots himself so he can comfort her and it would maybe hopefully less stressful for her. As someone who is terrified of needles it surprises me sometimes how just a simple hand to hold and squeeze can be so helpful. And very clearly Loona needs way more then a hand to hold, I also don't really think that scene is as funny as it might have been intended. I just see a terrified daughter who must have been so abused in the past in some way for her to react in such a way to that setting in the first place. I mean at this point all we know is she ended up in a cage for a very long time before Blitz adopted her. The rest of it, fair yes, Blitz needs to find it in himself to talk to Stolas so they can both work out their issues. But I have to respect him being there for his daughter at least.

There's been some possible (but NOT confirmed) hinting that Stolas might get into a different relationship with someone other than Blitz after this; I hope that's the case, not because of drama, but because this could help Blitz fully realize that he likes Stolas, and hopefully become more genuine and open. We do have 4 seasons planned, and there will be 12 episodes in total with this season alone, so there is time for this to possibly happen! :)

I get that Blitz should have done more for Stolas, but I also empathize with the whole one word texts. it make sense though, especially with how he was used to not having a lot of meaningful relationships so talking in a romantic sense would be incredibly difficult for him, even more so when you think about his most recent ex and what their relationship was probably like.
I understand your anger, though I do think that they could be exactly what the other needs if they can find a way to work it out. But we should always note that everyone deals with pain in their own ways. Some people, like Stolas, want to move forward from their pain and trauma and work on improving themselves and their lives for the better. But sadly some people are like Blitz, and would rather avoid anything that they think will hurt them especially if it reminds them of past trauma. I don’t think Blitz is doing it to be mean. After what happened at Ozzie’s, I think Blitz’s past trauma mislead him to believe that Stolas was embarrassed to be seen with him which hinted to him that he was just a sex toy for him. Which would explain why he said, “Stolas don’t act like what we have is anything more then you wanting me to f*** you.” Perhaps Blitz is just scared that Stolas being nice to him is just to get him to come back so he can use him as a sex toy again and just doesn’t want to take the risk of getting hurt again.
Going through the texts again, and not taking into account all the other stuff that we now know about how Blitz is (talking about the last few episodes that have now come out), The fact that Blitz still answered Stolas every time and didn't just ghost him I think does have some props. Sure they are just one to two word answers and that Stolas deserves more, for them to talk out what happen at Ozzie's or to actually figure out where they stand, but he doesn't go without answering him except for that very last post which could of been just Blitz in shock not sure what to say. In season 1, We saw that Blitz put Stolas on top of a thrown, not able to be touched, and Blitz just being this little chained pet. Suddenly, this all mighty person with more power then Blitz could even think of, this person suddenly got hurt and almost died... There needs to be some point when Blitz and Stolas are forced to talk or at least show they care about each other if things are going to keep going for them. Stolas can't keep beating around the bush, and Blitz can't keep on hiding from his problems. Thats my feeling at least.

Yes, Stolas deserves better than Blitz. No argument. But Blitz, at least as far as he knows, has no reason to genuinely believe Stolas gives a damn about him. He was raised by an asshat that taught him words mean nothing, so literally nothing Stolas says can be an actual act of kindness for Blitz. And the one time, the ONE TIME Blitz actually let himself be vulnerable to Stolas.. Stolas recoiled. He rejected him. As far as Blitz has been told, Stolas sees him as a sex toy and nothing else. Something to be ashamed of being seen in public with. Yes, I know that's ironic because Stolas was the one who wanted to go out on a date, but Stolas is also the one who fucking hid his face. It was **intentionally** ironic. Thats why Stolas didn't argue when Blitz said 'all we are is you wanting me to fuck you', because he knew that his actions convinced him more than his words ever could. Blitz gets so much shit he doesn't deserve which is not something i thought I'd ever say about a sociopathic demon literally paid to murder without morals.

I agree that blitz is not very emotionally available and that's not ok for stolis to have to deal with. However, don't attack Blitz's spelling. It's pretty clear from the other messages he always types like that and/or he can't spell. As someone who can't spell well it's not like I choose to be bad at it. Words just don't make sense in English. And yes, I did have to use spell check a few times for this.

I think this will be the actual turning point on Blitzo and Stolas relationship. Blitzo gave Stolas for granted in many ways, that he was all powerful and untouchable for one. Now he knows Stolas Can get hurt, and maybe he's starting to realise everything. That Stolas has beenfor real. Perhaps Blitzo still thinks slightly like Striker: what else could a Goetia want from an imp than bed? Now he sees Stolas is not almighty. Now he might be reflecting, for once. Maybe he didnt know what to answer. "Sorry I've been a d"? That should be said face to face. And maybe Blitzo doesn't have the courage to do so. He better go visit even if he didn't say it.

What always pains me a bit whenever I think about it is that at the end of the day, neither of them can fully heal without working on themselves AND starting to love themselves, alone. That doesn't mean they should distance themselves from everyone else, I just think most of their healing relies on themselves almost without any outer love. Though of course I can't say that with 100% clarity/certaintly since I only know so much. And to be honest, if they never had anyone truly love them I don't expect them to know how to heal without any outer help (aside from the fact that everyone needs help with healing). But I'd say that at least a big part of their healing depends on them as individuals. And it just pains me a little to think about because of how hard that can be.

Blitz obviously has issues expressing his emotions, even his employees know that at this point - Stolas definitely does, too. People communicate in different ways, and Blitz clearly cares about Stolas, but doesn't know how to get it across, PLUS he has huge trust issues, fear of abandonment, etc. Yes, ideally Blitz would communicate his feelings better and engage more actively with Stolas (because we know this isn't text-exclusive, it's offline as well) but Stolas understands, and that's why he's ok with it.
All of these characters need therapy, of course, but that's not exactly available for them :p

Blitzo still assumes he's just a convenient lay because Stolas hasn't been properly forthcoming about his feelings. From the inherent classism/racism, the expectations to keep up appearances and general privilege blindness Stolas only tiptoes around the subject.
On Blitzo's end he's got so many issues that without a definite acknowledgement of where he stands he's not gonna open up and let himself be vulnerable. He may not even be aware that Stolas even wants a proper relationship because he assumes its not even a possability in the first place.

Blitz has some sever trauma that's clearly not entirely come up yet. Likely with his mother, and again with Fizz. And seeing as fizz is half robot now, and his mother possibly presumed dead? I don't think this is the first time people ended up in the hospital due to him, and he's likely curled up in a corner with some fear and trauma over it and doesn't know how to even respond. My guess is when blitz's trauma comes out. Its likely gonna come out in a pretty bad way. He's probably buried more than just his feelings.
