I love these kinds of places, with ancient ruins! Wow the workmanship is amazing to think of the ancient tools they used. Enjoy these places now while you have your youth! Went you get my age and wear and tear my body has been through. I'll only get to see it through a drone. By the way, your drone views are Magnificent! The rooms were simple, but very nice! Again, you can't beat that price. Very reasonable! I imagine when the rice paddies are in full growth, it would make the view much better, but still very nice! Thank you, Adam & Sai, of taking us on your journey! ❤

You could bring a good guide with you. would explain lotof technologies used in Sigiriya. This whole thing was built within 20+ years. And there's a plumbing system from top to the water garden

One little point I'd like to make here: Sigiriya had never been forgotten by the locals since ancient times, as I've heard. People had visited there since its abandonment in the 5th century and the ancient graffiti (poetry to be exact) on the mirror wall dates much later. The 'discovery' of Sigiriya in the 19th century actually introduced it to the wider modern world and led to archaeological exploration of the site.

Some people believe it belongs to the mythical king Ravana thousands of years ago and then revamped by King Kasyapa. Hope you visited Polonaruwa, Anuradapura and Ritigala as well which has most of the sri lankan ancient archeology.

This is very nice guys but you seem to have missed a main attraction as you climb passing the Lions entrance, the Sigiriya frescos. I didnt see in the videio, if its there, my apologies.

What have you been doing to Sai Sai? Sai was not into the trek of this adventure! Not megalithic, but old as hell! Sai had to hide the camel toe, and it was a little camel reveal, I see you caught that! Us OGs have already seen Sai in her glory! It's all good, really! A very worth wile climb. Yes, the lions mouth would have been a killer look! 30 bucks is a pretty decent price! The peak had very cool things there. That was a big thumbs up video! Peace!
