Your comment makes no sense because no one said it’s a competition.
Of course it’s about showcasing our culture! You sound a little loko leaga. But to each their own.

@tiffanyperry3671.Fa'afetai tele (Thank you very much) for sharing your story. Samoa is known for its alofa (love) and agaga (hospitality), and many Samoans would be happy to connect with someone who has Samoan roots.
It sounds like you're facing some challenges connecting with the Samoan community because you weren't raised in the culture. Here are a few ideas that might help:
Start with the language: Learning a few basic Samoan phrases can go a long way. There are many resources online and apps to help you get started.
Connect with Samoan organizations: Look for Samoan cultural centers or churches in your area. They often have events and activities that can be a great way to meet people and learn more about the culture.
Embrace your mixed heritage: Samoan culture is a beautiful blend of influences, including Polynesian, European, and more. Celebrate all parts of your background!
It's important to remember that culture is for everyone who wants to learn and participate. Don't be discouraged if it takes time, alofa atu, Mahalo!
Same ol fafafige boys dance.
