Cool concept for a series would be for you to vod review players from each rank and see what differences in play style there are. So much of TFT content is focused on the very best players, which makes sense, but also can make it difficult for a lower rank player to understand what decisions they are making (or not making) that might be hurting them.
Nah, it’s honestly not worth it to look at players from emerald and lower. You can hard force anything in bronze-gold and get top 2. Gold - diamond is people copying meta comps and hardforcing those. It’s better to watch pros, pay more attention to your own decision making and compare that to the high elo players. Just mastering the basics is enough to make it to diamond, from there it’s small things and decision making and APM that helps you climb further which’s why these challenger vods are so helpful.
@@kevin8006 I agree that watching higher level players is important to improve. However, while I think a low-level player can watch a challenger and say "Oh, I should make Warmogs instead of D-Claw because that's what Player X recommends", I also think a low-level player won't realize all of the things they might be doing differently or wrong. A series where SZA points out things throughout a game like "I don't know why you're rolling there" or "You should have leveled there to keep streak" are things that a lot of lower level and new players won't pickup quickly just by watching challengers
@@gregm875 Its honestly better to just watch high level streamers and ask why they do certain stuff you dont understand. Your idea is nice but redundant since theres so many guides showing the basics and fundamentals. High elo players do things you usually wouldnt come up with yourself and show certain approaches to comps. I found out Twin Terrors by watching YBY1 vods and seeing people play it there. You would never find it in lower elo, maybe now that i has become meta but stuff like pre levelling , the concept of slamming items, maintaining win streak, loss streaking. You will never see that in low elo games and therefore it will hinder progression. Dont get me wrong pointing out mistakes will certainly help low level players, and its not necessairily a bad idea. But for a good part of subzeroark viewers; players who are already familiar with the game its just not appealing.
My read on the guinsoo sunfire slam is: They are good items on early game heartsteel. Heartsteel makes you much more likely to have reforger. Since they're like 2 of the worst items in the meta it makes a lot of sense to slam those thinking that you have a decent chance fo reforging them, they can pretty much only become better items.
I think your read on the Guinsoo's slam is possibly missing the scope of the comp. I have been playing similar comps a lot (so it's great to see an actually good player doing it!) and aphelios with Guinsoo's is so strong. Winstreak heartsteel is so strong and aphelios does tons of single target damage with a strong cc so an early Guinsoo's slam saves tons of health while you wait for heartsteel cashouts to stabilize the board later.
I honestly believe that I could hit masters with this comp if I didn't have boomer mechanics on my rolldowns/pivots. The biggest issue I have is that I feel like I can't give up on ez or cait 3 star when I'm sitting on 6 or 7 copies because I can't roll fast enough to get another headliner, reposition my board, and place items before combat starts. If apm isn't your limiting factor, I highly recommend this comp the way that YBY1 plays, otherwise securing top 4 is easy with rapidfires or whatever the game gives you and use the items from heartsteel to play strongest board every round without ever rerolling
How did YBY1 predict that he's gonna have a reforger and remake his items in the late game? This guy sees different angles in the game others don't see.
I'm glad we are watching YBY1, but we're missing so much understanding with the sped up format. Hoping we could dive into critical decision points instead of accepting "it's yby1."
Great vod but let’s be real, when people are playing AD flex, viego is literally the worse 4 cost to pick up and most players roll past that. So let’s not glaze the man too much for the choice 😂
Loving these YBY1 vod reviews, I watch his stream sometimes but the captions make it hard to follow a lot for me. Love your commentary

I second this, would be very down for a series like this :D. Perhaps even pointing out mistakes during it and a guess of the average rank of the game?

YBY1 vods are always a treat
Thanks bro!!

you should check out his first game of his 29/12/2023 stream, really insane true damage Jhin game
Hey, can someone explain to me something at 6:55 ? Why not swap out lillia 2 for mordekaiser 1? surely that's a stronger board at that point right?
health + 1 R cast makes Lilia 2 much better

well I was thinking he could go to the bathroom
What a chad
Small note he sells sett pair on 3-1 because he wants to hold senna cus its his next in not that he wants to hold ksantr
Slowing down on 4-2 rolldowns would be nice !
😂😂 good joke
imagine if this yby1 speaks english, we can gain a lot of insight from him especially about his playstyle and decision
Nope 😂😂 even im vietnamese still dont understand his built. He is unpredict person
5 games 1.0 AVG 💀
dont sleep on double guinsoo bloodthirster 3 star aphelios
Really enjoy your videos, keep it up SZA
knowing his next game loses him 130 LP is kinda depressing
omg that was really pain in the ass
5+ wins down the drain for one loss is wild. I wouldn't be able to stay motivated
yikes, glad I don't play ranked now
@@sleepysnuggs he lost that much bc hes a clear 200-500 LP over the lobby average, nothings changed w the game lol
He made the guinsoo at 2-6 when he saw his opponent was decently strong to maintain his winstreak. Sadly he lost right after lol
How did YBY1 predict that he's gonna have a reforger and remake his items in the late game? This guy sees different angles in the game others don't see.

Is this what Subzeroak does everygame?
What would YBY1 do? 🤔

Day 91 of asking for tophat zeroark 🎩✨
is he rank 1 global right now?
No 😂 cuz 5th 6th he got minus 40 - 60 so 4 bad game and he is 1k8 -1k9 LP
@@giakhiemnguyen5097 Update, he actually went even down to rank 13 as of looking to MetaTFT currently.
He will climb up in no time
