Plus several parts of the world don't actually practice chopsticks. Honestly I would've written an entire essay by now with at least 2 references but it's work I'm not willing to do atm. Day 1: Use only plants that are what they actually real life plants. i.e. sunflower, wallnut, snow pea, garlic, etc. EDIT: Since I can't english well here's what I mean: You can only use plants whose names are exactly the same as what they are. For example Sunflower is a sunflower. Something like puff-shroom there is no real plant out there called puff-shroom (as far as I know of). A list of plants allowed are (I don't know all the plants in the world these are just the ones I know): Sunflower, Wallnut, Snow Pea, Lily pad, Squash, Jalapeno, Cactus, Split Pea, Starfruit, Pumpkin, Flower Pot, Coffee Bean (although useless), Garlic, Marigold (also useless), Cattail and Winter Melon.
Survival Pool (hard) but you can only plant using the imitater and sun producing plants. I tried this challenge myself to make sure it was possible, and.... just make sure you pick the right plant per level! If I can do it you can ;3

Challenges: - Blind Luck: use a randomizer (with the name of plants, or images for example) to choose your plants every flag in survival. - Nuclear Madness: Use only Doom Shrooms (Real or with Imitater) as your only attack plant in survival. Hint: you can use Defensive Plants, or even other plants (since they don't attack the zombies) to stall the zombies. - Cracking Defenses: you can't use defensive plants in survival hard. - Golden Pupils: use just yellow plants in survival. Coffee Bean is the only exception, for Sun Shrooms. - Blue Blood: use just blue plants in survival Fog or Pool. If it's too hard, you can use sunflower or sun shrooms, Coffee Bean and Lilly Pads. Also you can use Winter-pult, since the Melon-pult doesn't throw watermelons before. - Bonus: Achievement Collector: in any level of Adventure Mode, clear the maximum amount of achievements you can.
Challenge Idea: You have to play and complete ''Adventure Mode" without shoveling a single plant, unless it gets eaten by a zombie, gets crushed or get caught by zombie bungee and etc. Also you can shovel the level 5 of adventure mode.
proof that chomper is underrated, it's a 150 insta against most single zombies but it recharges sooo fast that with enough spare sun it wrecks everything!
This challenge video has inspired me to attempt different I, Zombie Puzzle set up challenges. 😄 I did a variety of puzzles I got from the Endless I, Zombie puzzle game. A few I did were ones where there were a lot of Peashooters mixed with Puffshrooms, Starfruit; Spikeweed and Puffshroom combo. The Peashooter one was one of the hardest because I only had 2 sunflowers to get sun from and since there were a few Puffshrooms, I had to use them to stall just so I had enough time to get sun and after I put all the Peashooters down, I started waking up the Puffshrooms with Coffee Beans. While very hard, I did manage to do it. Honestly it was quite fun and I'd like to see you do this kind of challenge video again with doing other I, Zombie set ups. I recommend getting one from the Endless puzzle minigame since that minigame has more variety for setups. 🙂 Long story short, thanks for the video and inspiration for doing some additional fun challenges for such a great game.
An Interesting challenge Survival: Hard (don't care which) You may have whatever plants you wish, but You can only have one of each color, and can only change out your plants (for each color) per 2 rounds, meaning you could only change 5 times in Survival: Hard. Note: For plants with multiple colors, distinguish the main color, and judge that as their color. For example, sunflower would be brown, cattail white, and cabbage-pult green. Examples of Colors and Plants: (These are just what I can remember off of the top of my head, they are not exact examples, so use whatever fits) Red: Chili, Cherry Bomb Orange: Pumpkin Yellow: Starfuit, Kernel-Pult Green: Cabbage Pult, Melon Pult Peashooter, Repeater, Gatling Pea, Squash Blue: Winter Melon, Snow Pea, Freeze-Shroom Purple: Puff-Shroom, Scaredy-Shroom, Gloom-Shroom Brown: Sunflower, Wall-Nuts, Tall-Nuts, Flower Pot, Coffee Bean White: Cattail, Imitator, Garlic Black: Doom-Shroom, Lantern Welp. If you can figure out a tenth color, go ahead. If not, either use the imitator as a wild card, or decide to only have nine slots. Up to you! Enjoy!

Hello Detara, I have an idea for a challenge. Complete Survival Pool (Hard) while only using plants with the same damage output as the peashooter. The only plants you can use are the Peashooter, Snow Pea, Puff-shroom, Fume-shroom, Scaredy-shroom, Ice-shroom, Threepeater, Spikeweed, Sea-shroom, Cactus, and the Cabbage-pult. You can also use sun producing plants, Lily pads, Coffee beans, and the Imitator.
Random tip: if you’re gonna do a 1 slot only challenge without water, then take every upgrade plant along with lily pad and sea shroom for an extra 2 unusable slots

All this did was remind me how much I wanted "PvZ but you play through the entire campaign as the zombies instead" 9 levels and and endless bonus level are cool and all but I want that 50 level experience + the other minigames
Day 18 of asking for Torchwood challenge: - Survival Fog or Survival Fog Hard. - Try to take away all the fog using only Torchwoods and keep them safe till the finale flag. - You can't use Plantern or Blover. - You can't use Wall-nut, Pumpkin and Tall-Nut, but you allow to use combination Pumpkin+Torchwood. That's it.
@@abletodoit3051, because Detara can just stop the Last zombie in Survival by Nuts or Pumpkins and just spam Torchwoods at the end of the game. That's not so interesting. But every Pumpkin needs its Torchwood for not being just stunning plant for the Last Zombie. There's some risks in it, though.

in the minigame an entire row of jalapenos are instantly planted but that would be impossible to do in here because they would just instantly blow up before you manage to plant a column of them, not to mention they have an incredibly slow cooldown
Challenges:
- Blind Luck: use a randomizer (with the name of plants, or images for example) to choose your plants every flag in survival.
- Nuclear Madness: Use only Doom Shrooms (Real or with Imitater) as your only attack plant in survival. Hint: you can use Defensive Plants, or even other plants (since they don't attack the zombies) to stall the zombies.
- Cracking Defenses: you can't use defensive plants in survival hard.
- Golden Pupils: use just yellow plants in survival. Coffee Bean is the only exception, for Sun Shrooms.
- Blue Blood: use just blue plants in survival Fog or Pool. If it's too hard, you can use sunflower or sun shrooms, Coffee Bean and Lilly Pads. Also you can use Winter-pult, since the Melon-pult doesn't throw watermelons before.
- Bonus: Achievement Collector: in any level of Adventure Mode, clear the maximum amount of achievements you can.
Challenge Idea: You have to play and complete ''Adventure Mode" without shoveling a single plant, unless it gets eaten by a zombie, gets crushed or get caught by zombie bungee and etc. Also you can shovel the level 5 of adventure mode.
And you can also do it in (Hard Mode) to make it a little more interesting.
Challenge: complete survival day with replicating the setup from"there is a zombie on your lawn" credits scene

Welcome back to how many different ways can you beat survival.
This challenge video has inspired me to attempt different I, Zombie Puzzle set up challenges. 😄 I did a variety of puzzles I got from the Endless I, Zombie puzzle game. A few I did were ones where there were a lot of Peashooters mixed with Puffshrooms, Starfruit; Spikeweed and Puffshroom combo. The Peashooter one was one of the hardest because I only had 2 sunflowers to get sun from and since there were a few Puffshrooms, I had to use them to stall just so I had enough time to get sun and after I put all the Peashooters down, I started waking up the Puffshrooms with Coffee Beans. While very hard, I did manage to do it. Honestly it was quite fun and I'd like to see you do this kind of challenge video again with doing other I, Zombie set ups. I recommend getting one from the Endless puzzle minigame since that minigame has more variety for setups. 🙂 Long story short, thanks for the video and inspiration for doing some additional fun challenges for such a great game.
An Interesting challenge
Survival: Hard (don't care which)
You may have whatever plants you wish, but
You can only have one of each color, and can only change out your plants (for each color) per 2 rounds, meaning you could only change 5 times in Survival: Hard.
Note: For plants with multiple colors, distinguish the main color, and judge that as their color. For example, sunflower would be brown, cattail white, and cabbage-pult green.
Examples of Colors and Plants: (These are just what I can remember off of the top of my head, they are not exact examples, so use whatever fits)
Red: Chili, Cherry Bomb
Orange: Pumpkin
Yellow: Starfuit, Kernel-Pult
Green: Cabbage Pult, Melon Pult Peashooter, Repeater, Gatling Pea, Squash
Blue: Winter Melon, Snow Pea, Freeze-Shroom
Purple: Puff-Shroom, Scaredy-Shroom, Gloom-Shroom
Brown: Sunflower, Wall-Nuts, Tall-Nuts, Flower Pot, Coffee Bean
White: Cattail, Imitator, Garlic
Black: Doom-Shroom, Lantern
Welp. If you can figure out a tenth color, go ahead. If not, either use the imitator as a wild card, or decide to only have nine slots. Up to you! Enjoy!

Example: In the first level there are Normal, conehead and ducky tube zombie, so you have to use the plants you unlocked on Adventure Mode in 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 3-1 and 3-2
So you have to pick Peashooter, Sunflower, Cherry Bomb, Wall-Nut, Lily-pad and Squash.
Post Scriptum:
If the space of plant you can pick is not enough, you can choose.
Example: Normal, Conehead, Buckethead, newspaper zombie, ducky tube zombie and zomboni.
You can choose the plants from 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 1-8, 1-9, 2-1, 2-2, 3-1, 3-2, 3-6 and 3-7
Challenge suggestion: Keep the first conehead zombie in survival day hard alive until the final wave. (Dealing some damage to the first conehead zombie is allowed but make sure the orange cone from the first conehead zombie isn't destroyed or else it will become a basic zombie and it counts as not keeping it alive until the final wave)
He did do a "keep the first zombie alive" challenge on hard. Won't this would be an easier version of that challenge?

Hello Detara, I have an idea for a challenge.
Complete Survival Pool (Hard) while only using plants with the same damage output as the peashooter.
The only plants you can use are the Peashooter, Snow Pea, Puff-shroom, Fume-shroom, Scaredy-shroom, Ice-shroom, Threepeater, Spikeweed, Sea-shroom, Cactus, and the Cabbage-pult.
You can also use sun producing plants, Lily pads, Coffee beans, and the Imitator.
Random tip: if you’re gonna do a 1 slot only challenge without water, then take every upgrade plant along with lily pad and sea shroom for an extra 2 unusable slots

Every 30 seconds dig up your most expensive plant or however long or short until you feel like it would be fair on whatever level or challenge

All this did was remind me how much I wanted "PvZ but you play through the entire campaign as the zombies instead" 9 levels and and endless bonus level are cool and all but I want that 50 level experience + the other minigames
Day 18 of asking for Torchwood challenge:
- Survival Fog or Survival Fog Hard.
- Try to take away all the fog using only Torchwoods and keep them safe till the finale flag.
- You can't use Plantern or Blover.
- You can't use Wall-nut, Pumpkin and Tall-Nut, but you allow to use combination Pumpkin+Torchwood.
That's it.
Every one of those points I understand why, but what's with banning wall/tall-nuts?
@@abletodoit3051, because Detara can just stop the Last zombie in Survival by Nuts or Pumpkins and just spam Torchwoods at the end of the game. That's not so interesting.
But every Pumpkin needs its Torchwood for not being just stunning plant for the Last Zombie. There's some risks in it, though.
Challenge: Using only starfruits as your main dps in Survival Endless. You can use insta-plants. Let's see how many flags you can survive!
