A few things to also note: 1) Advance also searches u catapult which makes it a 1 card starter 2) Urgent Schedule is a legit custom card double e tele that can immediately make Ballista 3) One of the traps that let u fusion summon makes ur guy unaffected by monster effects which u set off commander which is also relevant 4) Fortress also floats when destroyed which is just insane
I love that most of the Ancient Gear stuff here is new and just got slept on until now, but Fortress came out 8 years ago. It predates the Tenpai and Gimmick Puppet field spells by nearly a decade!
That's variance for you. On a good day, mediocre but capable decks like Speedroid, HERO or whatever anime deck you can think of with a wincon can take matches off any deck. Hopefully pet deckers can show up more in the future to prove that as long as they don't have the out, you're good.
