I loved watching the game today. I thought they looked a bit like my sunday league trying to finish at times, but we must support out squad. Darwin assisted Diaz. Mo finished a penalty. We got a point. These players work so hard and I'm thankful for the show they put on!
I think were all agreed Jota is our best finisher and the one we needed in this game and for the run in

Everybody need to stay calm and confident. This is the only way to be rewarded at the end of the season. Jürgen is our role model.
Liverpool played better when Salah was out injured.
This game showed up the weakness in Darwins’ game. Far too erratic at times, with the odd good bit thrown in. The whole front four, especially Mo, should have buried United by half time. Well done to them for fighting on. We need to start scoring when the chances are there. Onwards with the ride! 👍💪

Darwin’s at least passionate and genuinely tries to perform beyond his natural capabilities.
He has all the superior athletic attributes, but that’s about it.
It’s expected, that he can’t convert as many chances, since his specific football skills are not on a pro level, when being brutally honest.

Very average players, plus Nunez seems to be thick af. Salah just seems not bothered anymore. It looks he has already agreed on a move to Saudi.
We were far too wasteful in the first half poor choices in front of goal and poor finishing but at least we did not lose..Still in the race but we have to start finishing more of these opportunities.

The youngsters have been overperforming the whole year, it's natural for them to have an imperfect game at Old Trafford. Remember its Ramadan time, no disrespectful to religion etc but players will struggle while they are fasting etc. It's tough to get through the whole match without drinks, etc.

Understand, I am just stating that it must be very difficult to play full on match during this time. I am LFC fan too and it is frustrating to see how many chances they wasted. If I recalled Salah had dip in form around about this time last season too. At least Konate is not playing, Klopp's style is very intense.

Arsenal drew a game they had full control over against us last season in the same moment of the season. Absolutely the same moment, even the same weekend of April. I'm afraid this can happen to us this season. My only hope this doesn't happen is the Klopp's experience compared to Arteta's in that time last season. Also Jota, TAA and Alisson are coming back. The week where we have 3 consecutive away games is the real test for us. And unfortunately somewhere there I see us losing our chance to win the league. It’s tough to take knowing we could have easily won this game, had we been more clinical in the final third, but that’s just football for you and that’s why we luv the game so much…. I don't know how week in and week out our finishing is so bad. We need 20 chances to score 1 or 2 goals, while other teams can score with 1 or 2 chances. Its ok to be like this in the occasional game, but not every game. For world class players they need to be better, its as simple as that. You don't play for the best club in the world and get crazy money each week and you finish as well as a 3rd division player.

Perhaps the opposite is the problem. Perhaps our sports doctors are being overly cautious about declaring players fit again after injury. No other clubs have players out for such prolonged periods as us. It makes you wonder.

We need to sort this issue we have in front of goal. We seem to want to walk it in, too many touches and poor last touch resulting in a wasted opportunity. Its leaving us too open and we must finish games while we can. Salahs touch has been really poor and he wastes too many chances. As Klopp says we have to take the chances we get. Dominating a game doesnt get us any points.

Breaks my heart to write this but if you`re that sloppy with your chances, not only today, has been the same in many matches this season, maybe at the end of the day you don`t deserve to win the league. Specially with two such strong oppositions.
I fully agree with you Paul. You summed it up very well. We all wanted to win it. Especially for Klopp. We hoped and still hope for a parade to send him off. But at the end it was in our hands. It was a wonderful dream, and if it doesn't happen, we were simply not good enough.
yea man utd will give it to arsenal if it comes down to that. but hopefully it wont. Problem is already 3rd game we should have won and didn't. When it is not the ref it is ourselves. Antony tailor did decently well, it is just like a curse. Salah needs to blow the net off for the cameras, he can't just score so we are safe. Every missed chance could be one that will bite back.
Liverpool have dropped points regularly because of poor finishing in front of goal, indecisive play in the final third, and many defensive mistakes!

I also believe that Jürgen made some strange substitutions off the bench, and doesn’t seem to know who to bring on. I reckon he should have brought on Jayden Danns and Cody Gakpo much earlier at Old Trafford, instead of someone like Curtis Jones and Joe Gomez. Liverpool most importantly needed goals in the second half!
If you're wasteful in front of goal and sloppy at the back time and time again, then you drop points, it's that simple, and that's why Liverpool will drop more points until the end of the season. Arsenal played Burnley, Sheffield and West Ham away, had a combined xG of 9 and scored 17 goals in these games. Liverpool played City and United, had a combined xG of 7 and scored 3. I guess that's the difference...

story of this season VVd MEGA fuckup vs Arsenal, and this Quansa fuckup vs Man Utd in a game we needed to show who is boss at least at the moment. That and the feeling that we should have won vs CIty, Utd x3, arsenal but we didn't so it will come down to luck. Which we seem to have and seem to lack sometimes. Seems none of the top 3 can beat each other consistently. Arsenal lack something so do we, and City is just tired of winning.

The journey is all about the destination. I am not one for looking back and revelling in games we should have won but didn’t. Especially when we are clearly the better team. However, we have proven to be our own worst enemy in many respects, pressure and possession without scoring, passing around at the back excessively, defending unnecessarily through misplacing simple passes and conceding idiotic goals like we did against Arsenal and Man Utd.
Front three completely off their game and a supposed “talisman” fasting then declaring himself fit and reading to play. We’ve overachieved and lulled ourself into a false sense of security, by grinding out results against lower placed teams by a goal or two.
That is a recipe for disaster. Either Klopp sorts this lot out or he’ll be leaving with one trophy this season. I am raging with anger over that performance. Once was a misfortune, but twice is utter incompetence.

Soboslai cannot play in the middle of the park he hasn’t got it in his vocab.. every video I watched of soboslai when we bought him he played where Diaz plays. Klopp does play too many people out of position. Soboslai doesn’t even look happy. And imagine being danns or gakpo just seeing Nunez start game after game I’d be knocking on klopps door and saying there’s no chance I can watch this longer either play me or get me sold
