33:00 - When talking about trigger order, Tabernacle grants the sacrifice ability to your creature, so all the abilities are yours which means you can put them on the stack in any order. This also means you could cast esperzoa and return another creature before paying for it.
Tabernacle's ability is "destroy", not "sacrifice". It usually doesn't matter but it can.

This difference has caused many creatures to be lost due to missed trigger rules

Sad we didn't see The One Ring combo with Esperzoa, but the big jellyfish still made me smile.
I especially enjoyed the Phil noises in round 4, from disappointment at 25:54 to happiness at 29:49.

I mean, at some point, if simulacrum synthetizer is going to consistently keep being a 3 mana scry 2, maybe it would be a nice video idea to go look for something else to put in these kinda decks?
Chrome Mox out, 3 Mox Opal (probably 1 Mox Opal + 2 Mox diamond) + 1 Lavaspur boots in. Also consider maindeck Pithing needle
one of my fav decks is still a kitchentable aggro deck i brewed centered around glazefiend, painsmith, esperzoa, and 0-mana artifacts that i could keep replaying to get buffs. good times

I have seen Commandeer used against tendrils decks.
Let them storm up to 10, they cast Tendrils of Agony, you Comandeer it, you win.

3:41 i used commandeer in the arena chromatic cube to steal a villainous wealth for x=8 to flip a sure loss. Excited to see if itll do anything in this league!

I took have brewed with this jellyfish. Nice to see it in a legacy brew.
Esperzoa was an all star of my first mono blue edh deck, I used it to loop things with fading like tangle wire, and rejuvenation chamber, cumulative upkeep like naked singularity, no it wasn't good, and it was a different time.
Esperzoa is a card i remember FISHING (...)

not having any number of phyrexian metamorph is wild. Maybe the answer is to go all-in on synthethizer and play frogmites, metamorphs, myr enforcers and a crapton of artifact lands with something like ensoul artifact on darksteel citadel as a backup plan. IDK. .
He has played something like that last time he picked up a synthesizer list.

Weird question here. Do you think like the meta is graveyard heavy enough to start main decking leylines again? Like - it hosed parts of every deck that you played against this league; delerium, reanimator, beseech combo, crucible and loam... It almost feels like it hoses at least some part of most decks in the format right now barring mono red prison.
