I remember hearing Fix You for the first time as I was listening to the album on my way home after working at a bar. When Fix You came on, I sobbed in my driveway for over an hour relistening to it. Such a deep, beautiful song!! That guitar riff is everything! ❤

3 weeks ago I had a MRI appointment at UCSD, i told the technician that I have to imagine songs to take my mind off during the 25 minutes. He said we can play music for you, what would you like? I said Coldplay! They gave me a headset, 4 songs later, my MRI was done 😊 It made a difference between listening to music vs listening to the magnetics sounds!!! My favorite is always Fix You. It was played in the Ewen McGregor world bike ride tour THE LONG WAY ROUND, his bike was stucked in the mud in Siberia, Russia....
Ive always loved Coldplay music, been loving the guys since I got to know them a bit and loving the energy at their concerts ever since the internet allowed me to see it. I really hope I'll be there one day!❤

Well, I dont know where Ive been for the last 25yrs, - im not syre I no any of there songs, since my car radio is always on Country Station , or old rock Station!!- but, Im 68, maybe thats why!🤪, but I dont no why they were hated, because Nothing wrong with this music, & my goodness, look at this stadium of Fans of their Music-- WoW!!🤗
I highly doubt they'll stop at 12 albums. Coldplay may not release an album every couple of years but, they'll definitely make it to 16 or 17 if you ask me. It's one thing to regurgitate the same songs year after year after year until you die, but, when you're as prolific as Coldplay and as Chris said he's basically writing songs every day, I don't see how you can't want to put it on vinyl and send it out to the world.
Oh, my goodness! That would practically be the greatest show the Sphere ever plays. The visuals would just knock every other show played there and would play there after. That and everyone would more than likely sing along. I'd pay for the ticket for pre-sale instantly!
@@larrymarshall8900 Guy Berryman, who is arguably the best bassist ever because he has the courage to be economical with his bass lines (also something of a renaissance man, which I greatly appreciate), Jonny Buckland, capable of blowing your socks off with the guitar rifts be it in their old days or current times, and of course Will Champion, doubling vocals with Chris and the amazing drummer of the group. I reckon one day we will get all four of these folks to be as well known as “John, Paul, Ringo, George”

Is every big star crowned with a Record-breaking tour these days? I thought Taylor had that in the bag. and Billie? but ColdPlay? I mean I'm a huge fan, but its their old stuff, which this clip plays A TON of... that is their best. NBew stuff? not even sharing on my spotify account...
I was one of their biggest fans until around the Mylo Xyloto album. Their music trajectory since then has just gotten worse and worse, in my opinion. I will still check out their new albums when they come out just to see what they’re doing and it just gets increasingly soulless, even though it’s always very positive. I do admire their positivity, I’ll say that. Their music got me through a lot from the early 00s to the early 10s, so I’ll always appreciate that.

But yeah, I think the vast majority of their work since Mylo Xyloto is very soulless and generic. They often don’t even feel like a “band” anymore. More like a solo Chris Martin pop project.

You obviously know nothing about Coldplay. They wouldn't tour until they could make it environmentally friendly, they use recycled bio fuels and lots of other technologies
