RoboCop TRAILER 1 (2014) - Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish Movie HD
Robocop gets rebooted in this big-screen MGM production from director José Padilha. The picture will once again surround a slain police officer (played by The Killing's Joel Kinnaman) who gets resurrected as a crime-fighting cyborg until memories of his previous life begin to make him doubt his corrupt corporate overlords. Gary Oldman co-stars as the doctor who suffers a crisis-of-conscience after bringing life back to the man in the form of a mechanical body and reprogrammed brain, while Samuel L. Jackson plays a larger-than-life media mogul. - Розваги
"Dead or alive you are coming with me"...the best movie line ever!!!!
Absolutely underrated Movie. It needs a Sequel. I loved it
Eh I think the original is far better than it
I actually really enjoyed this movie. Different animal entirely to the original, but as it's own film, pretty damn good.
The 2014 "RoboCop" remake is still better than "RoboCop 3". It will never hold a candle to the 1987 "RoboCop" movie because that film is a masterpiece.
RoboCop 3 is detroit's biggest failure. Even going bankrupt is tame in comparison.
It's still better than the Prime Directives mini series
That's not saying much
Robocrap 3 had everything you shouldn't do in a movie... Everything. That was the worst piece of crap ever made... The director was horrible.. Imagine if that kind of director made the original one... It would never have a cult following... Thank God for Verhoven... And Peter Weller... And the whole gang/crew... The original is masterpiece perfection.... Music and everything... The remake sucks
Not even close robocop3 is way better much more action
The original movie is one of the best movies ever done.
Muito bom!
I like this a lot more. But we are different. :)
@@CsabaVas82 🤗
I really love Gary Oldman's deliverance of the "Human Element" line. Really nails it!
The movie was fantastic. This coming from a die hard fan of the original. It was so well done, I will be seeing it for a fourth time very soon.
Yes it was fantastic. Makes no sense comparing it with the original tho
This is a pretty cool movie, fun to watch... it deserves a sequel
Hasta la vista baby = The Terminator
This remake is not so bad, but remains greatly inferior to Verhoeven's classic. Peter Weller IS Robocop.
I do love the premise of a robocop with today's advance technology.

You're just old, this remake is infinitely better than the original
@@marcossouza4280 {{ citation needed }} how so? can you articulate?
@@marcossouza4280 haha not even close. The movie today do not go well, and the old is a classic, its funny your comparison. For today maybe the visual is more atractive, but the movie? never.
I love Robocop. It was one of my childhood movies! And this remake made me love Robocop even more! I want a sequel! I'd buy that for a dollar! Haha
HAHAHAHA love that line same same
Carilah orang tua band padi di google
im not the only one here after the mk11 reveal trailer ... right?
Same
Yep
HOW?! LOL
Lol 😂
Ay bro
Looks badass ! The way the helmet comes down when he gets ready to put the smack down is too cool.
I'm sure Joel Kinnaman is a great actor - but for me, Peter Weller will always will be Robocop.
Hollywood needs to leave Verhoeven films alone. Total Recall, Robocop, Starship Troopers are fantastic satires that are becoming more relevant as time passes. They don't need remakes!
Well said!
Fck off, „Hollywood“!
I'LL BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR!
nothing more tho
Funny story, I actually bought this movie at a dollar tree yesterday for a dollar
Raymond Sellars: I buy that for a dollar!!
Tony Stark: You want my property, you cant have it.
It's I'LL BUT THAT ------>SHIT
Even at a dollar, it's too much.
Fantastic movie! Remake or not, it's a must watch!
"Dead or alive you're coming with me"......beautifull!!!!! The iconic catchfrase again
They cut that part out I couldn’t believe it!
ROBOCOP BEGINS
ROBOCOP: The Dark cop?
"Does it come in black?"
Shoowww
I fell in love with this Robocop character. Great story. Amazing director from Brazil.
Am I the only one that finds Joel kinnamen very fine? 😊
Yes.
Yes, yes you are the only one.

"Dead or alive, you're coming with me."
I absolutely LOVED the original! Seriously, I’ve been watching it since I was a kid! (Funny story, the only part my parents ever thought to censor for me as a small boy was that “There’s more hair....Down there! When I asked what that meant they told me they were gonna shave her legs! 😂😂) anyway, as much as I love the original, I still really enjoyed this movie, I never had the opportunity to see Robocop in a cinema/theatre so, this was it! It was an awesome popcorn flick! But doesn’t hold a candle to the original! But still, appreciate it for what it is! People are so harsh lol
and this robocop reminds me of a single poweranger instead of being an actuall robot lol
Exactly my thought.
In this version of RoboCop, He is more Repolid than Robot.
10 likes per year, not bad. Btw movie is goat.
Exactly my thoughts
Bro. That lone alone.... "Dead or alive! You coming with me."
I like the conflict between man and machine they're stressing, the individual against the corporate/government directive. The original Robocop was partly about the human element superseding the programming, and I like that they've kept that and brought it out sharply.
"Suitable for all viewing audiences."
It cannot be more emphasized than the original.During the entire movie he battled his programming, trying to recover his forgotten identity, his humanity. This is exactly why the last "stupid" scene, was the most important in the entire movie. He regained consciousness. He regained his memories, the very element which his own soul was made. His humanity. This guy is more human than machine. He just uses a powerarmor,at least that is what I can tell from the trailer.
Well, personally, I LOVED BOTH the original and the remake of "RoboCop." Aside from them, I was not at all impressed with the sequels in between them, but fortunately, as I pointed out, I AM impressed with the original and remake because they were the best in science-fiction cinema history.
I'm really interested to see this. It's certainly worth giving the movie a chance. On another topic though, I would like to see a really good game made around Robocop for next gen.
Well, we’re getting a robocop game lol
They will never top the 1987 version!,no more remakes and reboots!
Move on
@@addicz2 Do you realise the irony of your comment, considering that it is in response to a three year old one?
Re watching this now, on a 140" screen projector , DTS 5.1 ...ouh yes!
The illusion of free will... HAHA sarcastically reflects politics.
I have a good feeling this movie will surprise a lot of people. I hope it'll be good. I love the original as much as everyone else. In fact I loved the first two so much that I would sleep with the VHS tapes. With that said I was a hardcore fan. I'm excited and can't wait to see this on IMAX. Robocop needed a fresh interpretation and I'm all for it!
This films alot better than I thought it was going to be.... yes obviously the story isnt great, but its defo worth watching if you like action movies...
I just feel that this trailer is summarizing the movie. Didn't watch the actual movie yet, but just feels like it.
I watched Robocop on Quickflix last night.. then heard this the next day!! Im excited.. But nothing will ever be better than No.1
I'm excited :D
I got goosebumps when he talks: dead or alive, you come with me.
Is great, it has everything to be a movie as good as the classic.
Go padilha!
looks freaking AMAZING
I love this movie I so want a sequel
"You need to speak to your son!"
NO YOU DON'T.
Didn't think it's a all bad approach.
I liked the fact that they emphatize the battle between the human and robot sides of the character, just like what happens in the previous RoboCop movies.
9 years and this was such a great movie 9 years and no part 2 common man
Lately, I'm seeing movies for the first time that were released a decade ago, cause until they appear on Amazon or Hulu, I have no idea they were made.
This one here is pretty decent.
This movie really wasn't that bad.
i liked it
@Dam Ned everyone is entitled to their own opinion
O melhor filme de um diretor brasileiro, com certeza!
I liked it, saw it on Netflix. Better than I thought it would be.
This looks so good, they changed the way he talks, not robotic like in the original, has a mind of his own. Nice twist, looking forward to this.
This is prove that Nick Fury , Vulture , James Gordon and Rick Flaggs are in the same Universe.

Only Buzz Lightyear and Iron Man can flip their helmets down

Awesome movie I am a Robocop retro fan and love the new movie very good.
im so excited for this
Movie delivered on all levels, don't understand the sub par box office performance ( stateside at least because it's doing decent overseas ) or the backlash .
Loved it and couldn't wait to see it again , terrific visuals, excellent characters and an intriguing narrative .
I wasn't trying to compare it to the original which is a genuine classic , just wanted an intelligent update, got more than that , way more .
It sometimes plays like an art house film but in a good way .
And yeah, Jackie Earle Haley can do no wrong, he steals every scene he is in once again
the acting was trash like u
Saw this on Netflix, a Fantastic movie!
This version of filmmaker Jose Padiha's Robocop is more Character Driven, Melo Dramatic (with Great performance from Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, & Michael Keaton) rather the (grotesque) Violence, Satire of Paul Verhoeven's (Original) Robocop.
Both movies are Great/fantastic.
Here's hoping Robocop 2.
Agree. This robocop was badass.
God Blessed be the 80's. Most today's great ideas originates from this decade. Still anxious to see this movie and how it compares to the original.
Better than I thought it would be actually. This is not a remake of the 87 classic, but a different and original take on the same premise
I have seen the old ones and I do say this does look good.
Padilha é um ótimo diretor e com esse elenco!! Obviamente a violência desse não sera tão gráfica quanto do original, mas Robocop ira ter um retorno excelente sem duvida. Aguardando ansioso.

Underrated movie!
If you look closely at these "remakes" it really shows how much deeper people of this generation think. It shows how back in the 80's it was okay to make a movie with just explosions and cool one-liners and have it instantly become a cult classic. But movies nowadays delve into deeper issues such as the ethics, and the "human element", and what happens when the human spirit mixes with a cold calculating program. The original Robocop just blew shit up and killed all the baddies (and even a SUPERVILLAIN) and he was heralded for it. Nowadays movies really have to make you think to leave an actual impression.
I hear what you're saying, but, I don't quite agree with your critique of the first film. It was a product of the 80's action genre, to be sure, but, Paul Verhoven brought a pretty sharp satirical sensibility and to the movie (as demonstrated by the numerous advertisements within the film) and a somewhat skeptical view of corporate motives that was quite fresh and daring for the time.
why at the end he sounds like Terminator? lol, anyway this is not the best remake movie but still very fun to watch, i enjoyed this new robocop
They should seriusely stop remaking awesome movies that clearly don't need a remake into some crappy pg13 bullshit.
I enjoy this film
@@UnholyByChoice ew
I defend this movie, it actually stands out from other remakes, cos it has its own story to tell, this movie has a reason. the illusion of the free will, the manipulation of perception by media and companies and information, and getting free.
@@DrDemonq8 shut up
I think this one had a lot more to tell than the original one.
Thank you
Need to see it NOW!!!!!!!!
"You need to speak to your son!"
FUCK THAT SHIT
I'M ROBOCOP
If you didn't like this movie, you never understood the first one. This masterpiece was justice for the hero
Always love Gary oldman
Looking forward to that man
This movie is good. I liked the first RoboCop and thought this one would be terrible. But they focus on different things. The first is really violent, and RoboCop is almost non human. On the second, he uses non lethal weapons to deal with most threats (which is modern) and he is actually trying to stay alive (not loosing his conscience and becoming a money making projext for Omnicorp). He still runs after the bad guys, but this movie places the bad guys in the top of society, running all the way to the bottom. Yet that violent, out of control social framing of the first movie is gone. Detroid doesn't seems that bad. The music is bad also, doesn't help to create the mood. Yet, the actors are good, saving for Samuel's performance which is hilarious and good.
Gugax Samuel L. Jackson can pull ALMOST any movie out of the septic tank ( Almost ).
Samuel Jackson is overrated.
There's no point comparing to the original, which is by all accounts a masterpiece. But this remake was definitely fun and much better than I expected.
This is more better than the 80,s Robocop
Yes. Looks great.
Iron man + Captain America = Robocop
Except he (the 2014 one) has the charm of neither. I've only seen trailers and critiques but this trailer alone seem mediocre
It's pretty sad that in 1987, the team behind the original Robocop suit could make him look like a robot that had a human being's face slapped onto it's head and stretched to fit like a pancake, but in 2014 it just looks like a full-sized guy wearing a suit.
Right
Absolutely, totally agree!!!!
que bueno que vi los avances, estuve a punto de bajarla
They should stop remaking Paul Verhoven's movies! It doesn't even have the r-rating. Total Recall wasn't even in Mars!!!! *facepalm*
Idc what anybody say the new one was GREAT!!! Just like the original.
I agree so good got it for my friends bday
Except that it lacked everything that made the original great. Even the line at the end of the trailer is meaningless other than to tie itself to the first RoboCop movie.
The remake is decent for what it is but it missed a big opportunity to do something different that the original film and its sequels didn't go into. In the remake Murphy had his memories and knew that he was once a fully human man. How does one retain their sanity when they wake up one day with their body replaced with machine parts and no genitals?
How do you maintain a relationship with your wife? How do you relate to your kid when you're barely human on the outside? How do you maintain your sanity?
I agree, love both
This one is okay but DO NOT COMPARE IT TO THE ORIGINAL
Looks awesome!
How am I just discovering this in 2021? A ROBOCOP remake was actually made? I moved away to Kazakhstan and missed this!
I'd buy that for a dollar
this robocop is ok but not good.
+zeetaf li Way better than the shitty old one.
+zeetaf li I loved the old Robocop. The new one is different in a variety of ways, yes, but it did the franchise justice.
Game good thogh
+Make America Great Again The Original is a masterpiece but the 2014 one is just good.
Bitch shut the fuck up
Love this movie
This is awesome
This movie had so much potential. An alright cast, good production design, music score was okay, and while I don't mind the black suit, the one he wore earlier in the movie was much better!
I think the filmmakers just wanted to make a simple cashgrabbing action flick about a robotic cop, but there was much more to explore and the brutality of the originals (yes, even the sequels) was just ignored. _The Dark Knight_ could have also been a good inspiration on a "realistic" take on RoboCop.
For example, imagine remaking the kid character from _RoboCop 2_ into a new modern version. A psychopathic child that runs a criminal network of mobsters. That would've been brutal (and controversial) to witness in a film if done properly, but it would have fit that brutality which is _RoboCop._
He did get his original suit at the end though.
I really enjoyed this movie. Watched 3x since it came out. Yes it could of been better but still enjoyed it. Reminded me a lot of Metal Gear Solid
Could've
I wanted more robocop movies
well , there's a big smile on my face again..
AWESOME!

Amazing
The suit he has on @ 1:52 looks better than the black suit
thats the original one i think
I think they're thought off going black first, then change the suit to silver...it's a sign of betrayal something like that.

It's actually probably influence by the popularity of The Dark Knight / Batman suit.
