Totally. I see exactly the same thing. I know a woman once, who was TOTALLY sound, solid, high functioning, and SHE once went to sleep for three days. Had a two year old. Woke to find her daughter fed, unsoiled, smiling. Missing time. Thought she lost her mind. Abduction stories in detail. Knew her, very very well. Hard to make sense of. But true as I know it. Thanks.

Regarding all the recent disclosures of the Navy, Pentagon, etc., I don't have any doubt there is something going on, be it a race from this Earth thats based underwater, interdimensional, or intergalactic. I don't know what they are or from where in space and time they're from, but I just find the evidence utterly overwhelming and anyone who vehemently denies it I think is being obtuse.

@@DTR89 Well since Ive never actually seen an extraterrestrial entity, I really couldnt comment, rather I was speaking more towards our anthropormorhized ideologies in pop culture, namely what has become known to be called the "gray alien". In normal words it was just a joke, and more importantly, one that comes from a place of nothing more respect and admiration of someone I considered to be one of my living heros. 😉

I kind of understood ZK rollups from this video more than other all places simply because of the byte compression example that Vitalik provided.

I think it should say 'if' and 'when' as ethereum 2.0 is gona be put back many times....other projects already use sharding
What is the future of sharting
Sharding reduces decentralization though. All your doing is trading some decentralization for some scalability. Unfortunately all you can do is make trade offs when "upgrading" a POW or POS blockchain.

@Mitchell Pearce Vitalik literally talked about how he wants to prevent Ethereum from centralizing in this (or the last) Podcast with Lex. I'm not saying Ether will be the future but the problems you mention are already existing with current currencies so maybe it's the best to just wait what happens instead of calling it a day prematurely.

If so much information is processed off chain thru the zk and optimistic rollups doesn't that jeopardize the integrity of the blockchain itself from attacks? Less data on chain, less energy needed to change it?
The regular consensus mechanisms still apply. If you want to revert it you need to outperform 50% of the network in terms of hashpower and construct a longer chain which is then accepted by the network as the canonical chain as it is the longest. Doesn't matter if the blocks are empty or full.
You gotta listen to the whole thing on lex's channel, he specifically adressed that point ..

How much energy does central banking use? Bitcoin isn’t even using 0.001% of what the current fiat system is using.
Cryptominers are pushing renewable energy more than any other sector. No mining operation wants to spend .09-.40 cents per mW/h ... that's a huge cost. Many operations are investing in more efficient energy usage

Vitalik has come out and said that ETH wont be much faster even when ETH2 comes out. ETH has always been junk.
Can any ZK proponent explain what the supposed groundbreaking novelty actually is. Vitalik didn't go into it just calling it a "bunch of complicated math" and I don't see it explained elsewhere either. Please skip explaining the basic concept because it's so simple a 10 year old could understand it. None of this is new, what's innovative about it?

Smart contracts is a modular component of Cardano, it’s built FOR it from the ground up. Just because they’ve taken their time to do it right doesn’t mean it’s a pipe dream. The Alonzo test net is up and running, the contracts do work. And it’s being released to the main net in a few months. I honestly don’t see where the pipe dream is.
Cardano is vapor ware worth 50b. Hoskinson has the worst vibes.
