This is great info for Flathead users. Been wanting to do this to my 2bbl equipped EAB. May wait until I do the 4bbl intake swap and do the big dog sniper kit at that point. Thank you for demystifying this.
Do the 4-barrel.... you can never go too big on the air-valve (throttle body) of an E.F.I. motor, and then you'd have the extra if you ever upgrade the motor with some speed parts.
Love it! I'm on your side, let haters hate. I have a 1950 Shoebox Ford with flathead v8. It's...ok. I think now is the time to make it better. Thank you for doing this because I never thought Sniper was option until now. Keep on keeping on!
Ronnie , Thank YOU !! FOR making this video ! It helped me to get off the fence , about doing the conversion or not ! However , I usually am running the idle on my 8BA @ about 450 RPM .... even though it's a stroker = 4" Merc Crank With .030 bore = 260 CID . . . . I hear ya when ya say it's a benefit for the wife . . . . ;)
If it's a cruiser, I'd go with EFI for the benefits of a street car, If it was a race car, I'd go with a carb all day. Nice job, it seems to run well... 👍
I've watched this a few times now, and can't form an argument as to why I should keep pissing around with power valves, jets, and heat soak. Let me know when you have fired up the CNC and have a 2300 to 94 adaptor made.
The ignition is the Key to proper performance as the Load determinrd the fuel required and ignition advance. Actually the system won't work properly with out the included ignition system' Gramps
How many times must it be said, "do not drive a car wearing flip-flops" or bear feet for that matter, you do not have the proper feel for the pedals. I know you are going to say FU but at my age (80) I've been around the track a few times, so give me a little credit for some smarts. It's not that hard to put on a pair of shoes before slipping behind the wheel, and it simply makes it safer and you'll return home in one piece, which the family would appreciate.
I grew up racing all types of shitboxes around the farm, with or without shoes (or a shirt for that matter). I think I'll be just fine if I decide to run to town for a Doobie in my flop flops 😂
Ruined? UPGRADED!!!

Thunderhead289 channel has developed "the carb cheater", look into it you won't regret it...

What exhaust you got on there? Sounds just right.
This is an idea i have wondered about using the flathead 4 barrel intake and the sniper kit
First comment :) glad you're still on YT.

Cool
Where did you find the adapter? I need one.
Jegs, Summit, local speed shop, they'll have what you need.
I❤ it
