Arrow wanted to be Batman as reimagined by the movies. So, basically Batman without his restraints, and only glossing over his traumas. At least we got the Speedys, when the Batman movies gloss over Robin at best.
The great things about this comic are Oliver and Connor having a father-son bond to look for Roy, Oliver and Conner having a reunion with Mia, Cissie and Red Canary meeting Oliver and Connor, Conner attempting to call Emiko his aunt, and Oliver reuniting with Roy and calling him his son. The missed opportunity should’ve shown Oliver telling Cissie that he and Roy met her mother Bonnie back in the early 1960s, in which he would’ve been an uncle to her; Emiko and Connor realizing that Emiko would’ve been Oliver’s daughter since she didn’t exist pre-Flashpoint, that Robert Queen I died pre-Flashpoint, and that they met Shado several times; Red Canary meeting and telling the Green Arrow Family her full name; Mia and Cissie telling each other how they became archers, getting along with each other, and telling each other that they met and teamed up with the YJ4; Emiko, Mia, Cissie, and Red Canary telling each other their origins; and Lian calling Oliver her grandfather. Also, it would’ve make sense for Mia to graduate as the second Red Arrow (after Roy and before Emiko), since she’s outgrown the Speedy name and train Emiko while have a sisterly bond with her since 2011.
I was really enjoying this series until DC went and reminded me of what made me cancel my dc pull list books for a few years for what they did to my favorite, as kid in 90s, book/hero wally west in Heroes in crisis. I only started reading regularly after Jeremy Adams doing God's work on his flash run for fixing the impossible. He then was taking off it, but at least he is doing the same thing currently on green lantern, which has really been down since Jeff John's. He should be on justice league. Got a bit off track ranting but I will give green arrow a chance still because despite the fact of sanctuary I am digging this book and probably top 5 currently in my favorite big-2 books
Sorry, CB but Waller will get away with it and will get EVERYTHING she wants, as she is set up to be the BIG BAD for the Absolute Power event this summer
Man this is what Arrow could’ve been like instead of what we got. Awesome work dude.

@@jonbrewer297 you are definitely right about that point buddy I agree with you man Arrow was basically Batman without Batman.
Man they break the Batfam apart while bringing the Arrowfam together
I know, right? Talk about IRONY😅

Nice!
Thanks!
Oh and yeah
Let's go!
You and me both 6:33 Red Canary is an unnecessary addition 🙄.
Whoa!
lets go 💪
Woah!
One problem though: Oliver ends up joining Waller in issue 13 which comes out in June.
Williamson has two issues to justify such an OOC move.
We know. Which means Waller wins and gets what she wants
@@jonbrewer297simple. Its to set Waller as the newest BIG BAD and for the upcoming event, "Absolute Power" which Waller is the main antagonist
Sorry, CB but Waller will get away with it and will get EVERYTHING she wants, as she is set up to be the BIG BAD for the Absolute Power event this summer
Is Jade Cheshire or they're daughter
Cheshire. Their daughter's name is Lian.
@@tykross thanks cause honestly wasn't much of a young justice fan so didn't pay much attention to a lot of stuff that didn't catch my attention
Isn’t Connor his actual son?
Yes, but they were kinda estranged over the years
Red Canary is eh. Not needed. Another copycat
True, NO ONE asked for her. We have enough Arrow members
