Optimus Prime Transforming

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback, like a few (many of you ;) ) I agree I should have shot more photos and had a larger fps selection, unfortunately this was done a few years back when I was less experienced and was rather rushed on time, my camera was rocking a 128mb compact flash card ;D and even at that time its age was catching up with it.
I'm continually gob smacked at the view count this video has, part of me is making me want to go back into stop motion animation regarding transformers, hopefully when I do, I'll take more care, take better quality snaps, have a far better fps and fluid animation.
Doing these transformers stop motions was an interesting experience, at the time I never had any real education regarding the subject, and still haven't taken any courses in media yet, inbetween 2007-2010 was a huge boom in transformers stop motions, particularly the MirasolTwins got me hooked with they're great work. Sadly I haven't seen as much action from them, but one of the few originals such as Quizzly7 is still producing great stuff.

(Original Video Description) Here is ROTF Optimus Prime taking his older brothers place in the orginal sequence. Though the video is'nt the whole scene it emphesises on the more complex and more movie like transformation that was seen in the film compared to the 2007 figure. The complaint about this figure is that it did'nt come with rubber tyres, but we can't all be winners (Aint that right rusty masterpiece optimus) :P

Not bad at all man. If that is stop motion photography which it looks like it is that is a very good job for being done without movie funding and that type the thing...
