If you're wanting to run more power and talk around the 🌎
I would highly recommend anyone watching this video, to study for your Amateur Radio license. A USA General Class license will give you HF band privileges with limited operational bandwidth privileges.

Thanks for explaining to me Mike about this Microphone I just read your email.
Nice that the mic pinning is printed on the front panel.
#13👍
A constant tone is easy for the audio limiter because there is no fast frequency or amplitude changes. Voice with changes in frequency and amplitude gives the limiter more work due to time delays between the sampling and attenuating the audio signal.
Completely agree about the 198 mic never sounded good. I did buy one of those stryker mics for my 955 in the work truck and it just made me miss my Palomar sl-41.
Try and find you a Telex Turner RK56. Have it cleaned up inside and give it a go!😁😁
Sounds the SR-76NC the Same good one the Stryker , like an Astatic 575 M6? Did you Test that ? Or do you know that?

If anyone wondering how to tell which Stryker SR-497HPC come with SWR on channel display, Serial Number S091000 and up have the SWR function.
Do you test every radio you sell?
In most cases yes.
If it's a drop shipped from supplier radio then no.
Generally nobody wants brand new drop shipped from supply source radios.
I noticed that you have a no returns policy. You should lower your prices because of that. Why should I buy from you when Amazon has a 30 day return?
Why would you buy a radio then want a refund within 30 days?
Feel free to use Amazon if you want to do stuff like that.
@@ScottsRadios I don't return anything unless it is absolutely necessary. I once had a money crisis so I was forced to return a CB to Amazon. Sometimes life happens. A return policy is for piece of mind. Your prices are the same as Amazon, Right Channell Radios and Walcott Radios!!
Most prices are set by the manufacturer so you will find that is likely the case.
I don't really concern myself with other vendors are doing.
If a return policy is something you desire, then I would suggest purchasing from a business that you feel more comfortable with.
I don't ever compete with giant online sellers.
They are bad for small business.
Remember my business is only for part-time purposes and not for full-time living.
When I buy 10 meter radios, there is no return policy from my supplier sources.
I accept this policy and gladly purchase radios to offer to my customers.
@@ScottsRadios I'm sure most customers are with me on this.
@@dennisschnobrich9288 I do quite well for what I offer.
It may not be appealing to all, and that's perfectly acceptable.
