What other unique lacrosse rules should we talk about next?

Thanks for this video. Definitely cleared up a bunch of things for me as a longtime fan who never played. Did not know about the difference between offensive offside (turn ball over) v. defensive offside = flag. Does the team need to send that offside player to the penalty box? Two more questions. Can you explain more about the significance of the 1/3 lines at front and back? Once they cross into offensive 1/3rd the shot clock starts right? Or is it past the mid-line? Offside relates to the offensive v. defensive half of the field (over the mid-line). Are there specific names for the lines? In soccer we call it inside the 6, 18 yd line for example.

    Good informative video.
Just to be super technical and nit-picky, it's "Offside", not "Offsides". :)

I’m confused can a offensive player go defence and can a defence player go offence or only the midis that can go both

Great question. Yes, Attack can play defense and Defense can play offense. Positions don't matter to the rules of the game. As long as you have no more than 7 players on the defensive half and no more than 6 in offensive half your team is good.
