    Great video of your time at such a beautiful place, a must visit for the bucket list . You sure put in a very full day exploring ,giving your commentary and filming it all. Loved Em’s commentary she is a natural and so mature for someone so young. Great to see you finish the second part of one of your rambles and let us know a little more about Dan. Will look forward too hearing more about his art showing when it happens,it takes guts and commitment to change direction to follow your dream.Thanks for sharing your journey,stay safe and enjoy yourselves on your journey

      Thanks so much Jim. We are very proud of Em, she is one of the most empathetic, kind people that you'll find and wise beyond her years. Always trying to do the right thing, and also push herself even when she really doesn't want to! The Bungles is just stunning - not much else like it that we've seen, other than of course Katajutu which we said in the video. The kids (and all of us) were pretty cooked after all of the walking. Thanks for your comments re Danny's paintings. He's pretty talented, but a lot to do to sell them! You only live once, so why not give it a crack hey? Look after yourself Jim x

    Danny & Ebony, thanks very much for allowing us to come along on your adventures. We are enjoying the videos and learning alot. We pick up our first van in 3-4 weeks and can't wait to start exploring. I was wondering in all your travels if you felt the need for a bull bar. We are not wanting to put one on and do not intend to travel at night. Keep the videos coming and safe travels. Regards Tony

    • @onthewaughpath6552
      @onthewaughpath6552  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Tony. Thanks for following along mate. Not sure if you've had a van before, but regardless a good tip is to video the hand over. They tell you so much that it's hard to remember it all. We have watched the video we took of picking it up and all of the instructions many times - especially at the start when we were trying to work out what all the different switches did! Re the bull bar, no we've not had an issue with it, but we've probably had 2 close-ish calls with a kangaroo even though we avoid driving at night. We're still happy without one though. Really comes down to your risk profile I suppose.

      Thanks Chaz. Yep you're right. We were super lucky too as we got an unseasonable cool few days when we were there. It would be bloody hot walking on all of that rock in summer (don't think you can though as it would be closed...). Yep, def recommend getting there, great spot.

      @@onthewaughpath6552 Cheers! Yep, definitely, my next holidays won't be going overseas. 110% sure. Definitely northern part of Western Australia (Pilbara & Kimberley) 4WD road trip it's gonna be. I just can't believe my eyes how beautiful that part of Australia is. Thanks again for sharing great video clips about Australia. Have fun with the rest of your family holiday! All the best ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍

    I have only recently found your channel and really enjoying your content. Also, because I watch via a larger screen, but use headphones, it is pleasant to find whoever puts the vids together, knows about nice music level mixing, well done. On other vids I watch, I sometimes rip my headphones off when the music is crazy loud. Stay safe, from one very happy subscriber.

    A truly fascinating place to visit and hope to get there one day but probably not as I have a dicky leg and really need to walk on flat ground.

      Hi Dave. Still an awesome view to even drive into and see the Bungles from afar. Wouldn't recommend the walks though with a bad leg. They are fairly tricky. So lucky to live in this country :-)

    Good informative vid , Very important to count kids, In the 60s, mum ,dad had 5 kids to count, No 6 came after we travelled, , I was travelling one Sunday, at about 80 km/ hr a rumble noise would start, Stopped several times to check, couldn't find anything , Got to my sister's cattle property, Arrrr , I didn't latch one window. No damage, Yes I built the van , silly me., Check twice before travelling. Stunning area , What month was this vid , Cheers Bevan from Sapphire 🤠❤️🇦🇺

      Hey Bevan. We have friends who did the lap and made an unexpected 3rd child at Uluru! 6 kids, that's awesome, we both come from big families and love having so many siblings. There is so much to check before travelling - even though we've done it hundreds of times now, if we stop somewhere for a week and hitch up it's like 'what do we need to do next?!'.

      Hi Kellie. Thanks for watching :-) Eb's hat is a Rip Curl one that we bought in QLD at a surf store. The kids ones we bought in Alice Springs, but you can buy them on-line. They are both Thomas Cook.
