JIM HODGE St IVES STAR AWARD 2024

JIM HODGE was a hero, admired and respected by all. His daughter Janet Mitchell receives her father's St Ives Star Award from Mayor Johnnie Wells at the 2024 Civic Evening at the Tate, the culmination of a campaign by Chrissy Chard. We are delighted to announce that from 2025 his contribution to the town will be recognised annually through the 'Jim Hodge Award' for bravery or similar act of outstanding service by a St Ives local.
'Water Man', compiled by Janet from Jim's memoirs, can be purchased from the St Ives Times & Echo www.stivesnews.co.uk/shop or the St Ives Museum, proceeds to Alzheimer's Research UK.
