I've never seen anyone do what I do ... I use paperolay over a stuffed fabric form. Once the clay hardens I just remove a basted edge and take out the stuffing. The fabric then just peels away from the clay like a popped balloon ... both the fabric and the stuffing can be reused to make another doll. Poly fill should NOT be baked so baked clay would be a problem ... but cotton balls might be able to be used at low temperatures. I haven't tried that yet.
I am amazed! I never knew it was possible to make ball jointed dolls using clay! I really want to start making my own dolls, and I am so excited. Your work is amazing. Already subscribed in your channel.
i love your style!it reminds me of pastel goth but also cute barbie?i dunno how to describe it,but its amazing🤍also happy that i found this video, was looking for exactly this!:)
Really appreciate videos like this as i'm thinking of getting into dolls after i bought a large 50 or 60 cm one. It's kinda sparking an interest that i never had. 🤔 But i'm curious and got a question: Can someone explain to me this obsession with extremly wide hips in BJDs? Like, i understand when people follow trends but it's like 80% of all ball jointed dolls look like this, like mixes of children and extreme versions of adult supermodels.
i i think i’m wayyy too over my head but imma still try lol i gotta do a self portrait for my 3d foundations class for uni and i have a week WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF LOLL
You are a very good teacher... learning very minute details from you
