After 1 yr, I would say, Bro, better forget any polish, always wash it.... Matt doesn't need a polish touch... A simple wash will bring much shine to the bike...

Bhai i think u have used glossy lamination on tank. Ur tank is shining, u should have used matt lamination

between matte and glossy bike which is easy to maintain and which has more reliability among matte and glossy bike
matte is premium and easy to wash.....just need plain water ....
you can even clean matte with a Microfiber cloth with no water ...
glossy never last on bikes

Glossy is very easy to maintain as you have multiple coating options life teflon coating, ceramic coating... You can even do PPF
There as matte are premium colors where it's hard to maintain
If you do ceramic coating or teflon coating.... It will get converted into glossy
You will lose your matte finish
You need to be super careful do maintain matte as there will be no protection
