Ben The Coin Geek
Old Pueblo Coin
Your one-liners fit my humor. Standing on a pile of my crack outs, lol😂
Great key date Roosevelt, such an underrated series, thank you for sharing.
Man, you've got a great channel. Top quality coins, info, & narration. Keep on... Cheers.
Ben really does produce the best coin collecting content on YT - huzzah!
Ben, the SP is a designation for a "specimen" example of a coin not for special. A lot of coins I've seen graded with the SP are burnished coins etc. I've seen it on 5oz ATB quarters to distinguish between the bullion and the collector version.
That 1928 looks like an ms62. Doesn't even have a FH.
first one
Hey Ben - another great showing - I am in love with that 1859 Indian - which I can't have - Kind of being in love with Jennifer Aniston - lol - The 1949 - S is stunning no matter what the grader says!!! I like that 1928d SLQ - BTW - you got to work on the Don McLean imitation - Best wishes
Was wondering if anyone else picked up on that, and the Alfred E Neumann one.
Hey Ben
Great video please keep up your humor!🔎.
Hi Ben. I love the toning on the 1909 $5 Indian. I like the SP designation for burnished coins. I love the 1867 Mo Max. Nice color. *-->* 🦉 *->* 🔔🔨
That 1909 really is handsome, right?
Can you imagine being alive back then (and having enough money, obviously), and you just walk up to the Mint cashier and are like, "Gimme a nice looking half-eagle, please."
That Roosevelt Dime is superb.
God Bless the Old Pueblo
“Al-GORE-ithm” guffawed a bit
You put a lot of gore in that one
Hey Ben! That's not the sample slab in the auction, what are your plans for that one?
That one is mine.
I should have gone through them better. Several coins had toning- I did get one with toning but not the best
Thankyou for showing the variety of coins, especially the Lincolns.
2:29 I'd call that a win, considering it's a newer ANACS getting the same grade from PCGS. Another day, it's a downgrade to MS63
very dumb cracking out rattlers its the holder not the coin in those cases
Nice Maximillian. If I recall correctly, they’re kind of hard to come by. Especially in uncirc or uncleaned.
A really lovely 1859 RPD [FS-301, Snow-1] Indian Head Cent, Ben. Yes, indeed, let’s see if you can get an Eagle Eye Photo Seal and a CAC sticker on it ? And if neither will give it their approval, simply put Old Pueblo Coin’s yellow and black sticker on it.🤓 If it triple stickers and you auction it through Great Collections, might I suggest a reserve of $4,750 in order that you won’t get hosed again, because that certainly wouldn’t be fun. 😲😳😬 🤣😂🤣 ⚾️⚾️⚾️
Ben says: "Little known secret - I used to collect Roosevelt dimes." Wow you scored a 67! That 1859 Indian was a beauty. That 2008 platinum with the blind justice on the reverse could be sleeper as the idea dies in real time before our eyes.
With CACG forcing the PCGS and ANACS to grade more conservatively. Do you think that your eye may be currently trained to how they used to grade and not how they are grading? This may explain why you are not getting the bumps in grade you used to get.
I think, if it were me, I would let my Engineer pick lots more coins. Outstanding Video once again Sir.
Rattler Crack outs are really painful, I get it but don't like it, but it's what it is...
Ben, stay awesome!
As someone with a large collection of rattlers I'm hopeful it will make my collection more valuable
Some very pretty coins. That 59 Indian is superb as is the 49 S Rosie.
I changed an A- to an A+ on my report card in 3rd grade using a similar tactic. It worked about as well 😅
That's great adding the +.
Can you start grading my coins🎉
Ben you should do a submission to Rick snow.
I don’t recall have you ever done that before or had Rick on the channel before?
I did all the youtubey things. I hope when they look on the google or the UA-cam you show up 🤜
Until AI grading starts, it's pointless to submit coins for high grades. It's either a randomizer coin flip done, or just preference for their friends. AI can count the exact number and area size of hits to produce a fair true grade.
I thought I was just going to watch a little bit, but somehow I watched the whole thing. It drew me in, good video.
Your in depth views and assessments of coins is starting to rub off on me a little LOL !
Best chanel on youtube I soak the knowledge up like a pile of sponges 😂
Your one-liners are increasing the value of your coins!
Goodluck with a 1921 Bu Set!
"she's standing on a pile of crack-out cases" - lol. Touche !
12:00 specimen 70 burnished
EIGHTH??? 🥚TH???
There was Henry VIII and then there was Donald VIII
That 1909 should be a 65 really
way cool beautiful coins
The Al gore rithyms, lol
The IHC left me Centsless!
Comment down below!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 boom, there.😂😂
Keep 'em comin' ben!
Awesome Ben! I like the 2¹/² and 5 dollar Indians, but those incused coins are extremely hard for me to guestimate a grade on. Morgan dollars are easy with practice. Not those Indians!
2008 platinum has gorgeous details!
That 1859 IHC is absolutely amazing.
