- I did this run near a year ago now. I put off uploading it here since, not only does it not beat Volound's time, it's even on Easy which should be able to. While this is the Real Time WR, this isn't the game time one, that's held by Volound. Unless I use his strat on Sub-Divide I can't ever beat his, and he's on hard. I don't plan on coming back to this for quiet some time, it's just not very fun.
Final in-game time is 1:12:08. Real time minus the time between missions is 1:06:33.

Back in a day I played waaaay more Warcraft3 than any other strategies, and from CnC series I played mostly Red Alert 2.
Still haven't started Allied campaign, as a kid I could not bring myself to kill my own people.

A tip to anyone who doesnt know, with dolphins, if you force shoot them a bit further away from the enemy, you do more dmg... can be used to take out multiple units at once too...
Wow, good to know. I don't think that can be used while running Allied on RA2 or YR but gives them more usage for online play. Shame Mental Omega changed their mechanics so it can't be used there.
It can be used.. tried and tested since RA2 was introduced.. But man... Didn't know Mental Omega changed that.. been 3 yrs+ since I last played this (I remember playing a match 4v4 beginner vs advanced player battle and won with my 12 dolphins against their 74.. changed the tide and won the game itself).
Wont be much use in campaigns I think.. not too many opportunities esp. on speed runs.. your allied speedrun was OP though XD
I loved this game a kid! I hated the yelps from the dogs when they died though. Bloody great showing though mate. It used to take me forever just to do a simple mission haha
Great run! Although when I try your strategy on red revolution my tanks always get owned by drones
The most frustrating mission on this must be Mission 7 from a speedrun pov since its all scripted and there's no real way of finishing it asap.
Yup. Entirely an auto-scroller except the very end where how fast you destroy the last units affects the time.
Oh wow I didnt know that in Big Apple, Beacon counts as Constuction Yard! I was thinking "how this mcv rush going to work?" Clever way to beat this mission quickly.
It does not. There is a Construction Yard and a Nuclear Reactor off the map that you cannot see which come into player's possession after the Beacon is deployed. Actually you can see these buildings on the radar in the up-right corner.
I remember when I was a kid, Korean Fleet mission took me some 9 hours to complete.
Chrono Defense is such a BORING mission. Just waiting arround until all timers are done.... I alsways underestimate how many waves they send
Yeah, it's the main reason why I lost interest in running the Soviet Campaign. I did find a new strategy that'll shave off time on Missions 10 and 12 so I'll return to it after I get a new time on the Allied Campaign.

I played red alert 2 many years ago and i cant understand why you do it
each extra production building (Barracks, ConYard, WF, naval Yard) you build will reduce the build time of the given facility.
The more you production structures build, the faster you can build / train stuff

Why does the final ingame time say it's 1:10:36. It's a bit disturbing to see 3 different times. Impressive run anayway.
The complicated timing method was designed so this run wasn't considered faster than Volound's run. He's much slower in real time because he watched all the cutscenes, and using game time can't work unless you have a pause-less and reload-less run. It's all available on the leaderboards if necessary.

now It makes sense, Yuri is still in soviets in red alert , but in Yuri's revenge Yuri left soviet and build his own army which is Epsilon Army. No wonder why soveit have the psychic beacon on red alert...

What's "autoscroll"?
Autoscroller refers to levels in platformer games where you can't move the level forward on your own and have to wait for the level to move. It's a blanket term used for anything similar, too.

Their power is connected to the Nuclear Reactor I took out at around 1:00:40. They were destroyed off screen.
Can't you just win the last map by nuking the chronosphere while its still shrouded? I've seen people beat the level that way.
I haven't actually tested that but the Nuke Silo does have a timer which would waste some time. I'll check the differences sometime.
I've tried. The cinematic where the nuke destroyed the chronosphere is very misleading. The chronosphere has too many hitpoints for a single nuke strike to destroy it.
In the 3rd last mission, the weather control device in the mission is modified to have less hitpoints than multiplayer. So one single nuke strike can destroy it, whereas it doesn't in multiplayer.
