It’s not the right time to buy bc the interest rate is so high and most realtors are like car sales men… they only make money off sales. Florida insurance rates are high as well. So If the rate ever goes down I would def refinance.
Can you imagine a realtor saying is not the right time lol and I work in insurance between the homestead exemption the previous owner had that he won’t get the price of taxes will double and interest has to be a good 7% if not more.

Congratulations my brother, I’m also a new home 🏡 going on 3 months now, I rented for 12 years and my landlord didn’t let me know his property was in Foreclosure so I needed to find a home, with interest rates I still need to work overtime but being a homeowner feels good

Check for cracks, look to make sure your roof and water tank are up to date. Check to make sure the A/C and Hvac system are up to date and don't need to be replaced.

People used to say "40 years ago when home prices were a quarter of what they are now was the best time to buy a house." Now we say, "4 years ago home prices were nearly half of what they are now, that's when we should've bought."
