You don't need to bleed to death ever time you get cut, it's just the translation errors messing with you. Also, don't add the sticks for fuel until you've already added the food to the fire. That way you aren't wasting the first 10 seconds of your fuel putting stuff in to cook.
I always use random features (restarted 3 times), and I always pick the one the lets you carry more weight (70 instead of 50). It's incredibly rare for me to actually be overloaded. Those features are awesome.
i just restarted my game a bit ago. randomed till i got the carry forward perk (+20 carry). got in game and my carry weight is now 85. devs must have upped base strength.
That's funny, that the new base weight is 65. It means that my experience is about what they want the new player to experience. :) It also makes the extra carry weight not a requirement for me anymore.
I never realized how much I appreciated you cutting out the nighttime stuff until I watched a couple of other creators' videos where there was a ton of night stuff. And crouch walking 90% of the time. And looting only the nonessential stuff. Keep it up Kage, this is good stuff!
just a thought on the crop sunshine bug but could the crop boxes be casting a shadow on the ones behind hence stopping the sunshine ? also watch out for which way the sun rises and falls
@Kage848 FYI, Freshness means how many days till it goes kaput. If it's Freshness 2, 2 days, but I think after 1/3 to 1/2 of that time, it goes yellow.
I noticed the zombies are attracted to the windows. When I took out my windows of my horde base they were attracted to the corridor of death spikes quicker. I still put plenty of spikes around the base too. I used your jumping stair idea and it works great.
When the zombies squat and stick their arms out to the side? They're 100% calling in more zombies. Looks like the dev just hasn't put in the sound yet. If you watch the video back from 11:30 onward - a zombie literally drops out of nowhere (in the background doorway) @11:34. Another one comes running up on you from behind.
I'd keep an eye for ladders. There's one house I found with a ladder to the attic where it actually worked. Though it's quite likely I was simply able to climb it.
I built a similar killzone but every zombie goes to the end of the funnel. Here's how: 1: Entire perimeter is the high spike walls. No regular walls or spike traps. 2. A 2x2 shelter accessible via large gate for the player to shoot down the spike trap tunnel (if they want) sits within the safe end of the build. No need for spikes all around and they don't try and damage the walls. The large gate seems to be the only entrance type that they're not attracted to more than the spikes, so they immediately go for the spike trap tunnel.
guns are far superior to melee, all weapons will 1 hit headshot can clear and loot much faster with very little chance of getting hit. ammo is easy to get, 762 and 556 in slots 1,2 and 2 pistols in 3,4. never run out of ammo using 4 different types and all can be silenced
My girl can carry a whole tree at one time. It's all down to those good and bad buffs you roll at the beginning. Of course I don't create content so it's easier for me to restart when they give us updates like the carry weight being changed to 65 from the original 50. The downside of playing early access games for content creators, do I restart or not. In this case I'm kind of glad you didn't as I've learned a lot. Thanks
I was finding lots of Backpacks in the motel that's in that town you're near with the well. We load up the carts and vehicles with 6 or 8 and that makes loot runs a lot more productive. :)
Developement only tels you how much crops youl get not how much time to harvest - there will be info if cropp is mature and "shovel of" will change to "harvest" Greenhouse curently prevents cropps from geting sunshine regardles if you place it on foundation or find flat enough place to build it on the ground so its not to eficient Forgot to add this before - if you still dot know you can repair backpaks after you move them to storage The place youve been for loot runshould be called quary since it definitly looks like one and all laders are usable. I think I pressed spacebar to get on one from botom but from top you atomaticly get on if you get close enough. Since you can get good amount of male wepons and tools its good place to dismantle them for ingots (well not knifes they dont give any resources)

If you run before grabbing the cart, run to the cart, don't stop, press f, you can keep running with the cart until you rub out of stamina. Once you stop running you can't run again unless you release the cart like normal. What i experimented with was get a stamina buff (delicious stew with the yellow can, and heated up the red hot chili can separately) packed 4 doping bottles, and opened my inventory. You can't change direction while in inventory so line up where you're running. I've had a buff that allowed me to run from one town (northernmost on the eastern starter island, to my first base on the eastern most coast without stopping.) To another. But since I could never remember what the combination of food was, I could never replicate it. In this instance, I was running from a zombie, ran past my cart and instinctively slammed on f -- and my character kept running with the cart attached! I pulled open my inventory (I was running because I was low on stats/ stamina) and grabbed the doping pills. As long as your character doesn't start heavy breathing by the time they completely consume the item, your stamina bar will completely refill until you run into an obstruction or you stop to maneuver or run out of pills to consume and your stamina depletes. At the cost of 5hp per consumption, it was worth it.
This was done with minimum / completely reduced stamina so I had to stay in my inventory to be able to select the doping pills right away. But if you've got buffs activated or your stamina isn't negatively affected, you don't need to stay in inventory, just be ready to select the doping pills to continue running with the cart before your character begins the heavy breathing and slows down
Have you tried out the other emotes? They actually have an impact and are not only useful in multiplayer mode. I've seen you run and then lay down to regain endurance quicker. Have you tried playing zombie? I just tried it out and it worked 😂. Put myself in the walking path of a zombie, and it looked at me for a second and then just walked by like two feet away from me 😂
Kage my man, u can cook 3 cans at the same time on the 3 bottom slots of yhe camp fire they auto cook to, fertility reduces grow time, and the planters need to be further apart diagonally hope this helps!

To use the ladders at the ore facility just stand in front of them then press spacebar
That spot is concrete and ores the one straight across east by water is the place to get plastic
You can cook the cans in the slots around the fire, it doesn't need to be in the pot. You can cook 3 cans and boil 3 water at the same time.

Caution!!! When gardening, it will say 100% but do not shovel off! Wait! It will then say harvest. Don't make the same mistake we did. Lol

Could you put three other kill zones around your base? Four in total! That way you will have a vantage point from all four sides

Hey Kage, Mele tip.... Line up the Zomb's with your head... not the reticle,,, seems to work for me.... Timing is also a big thing,
You need floor for all storage and just a bunch of looting will allow you to progress faster!
would it be better to place the spikes into the ground ( holding shift), that way the zombies cant jump into your base?

Bears are no fun; almost as bad as crawlers. I emptied 2.5 mags of AK-47 rounds into one before it died, and 90% of my shots were on target.
