I am also in this exact spot at the moment. I admire your boldness into leaving your pumps, generators and tanks completely in the open. I am always afraid of missing stray flier, shooter, or having a boss spawn in a new surprise location just destroying my stuff from afar. Also, I'm on the normal difficulty server and the pollution seems to be exactly the same. More nice things about this spot: 7-8 spawns of startrace ore Aloe (if you want to get your aloe farm started for crumbly bread) Two bosses nearby (and often super anomalies) Cargo scramble route passes nearby. You can snipe the truck on the bridge from your base
If you've got good neighbors who keep lotsa lvl 3 turrets online all the time you'll have a good time. But beware if taming animals... for some unknown reason ;)
7:52 this area of Evergreen used to be my base area! only a handful of neighbors back in server 51.. Now that I made a huge ass modern house I transferred to chalk peak area Was the first one there! it was a great spot because inbetween the little island and the mainland I can make my base there! best spot ever now its filled with alt accounts 😂😂😂
Those are good spots near Evergreen, I was there last season, good place to get acid and at the same time have part of your base not in the poluted area. This season I got the stardust recipe for the furnace and I'm in need of a spot with oil, so... as I'm swimming in stardust source I can actually buy acid, but I never needed to. You can also put your mining platform on one of your foundations right inside your base. If you have mining nodes inside your territory it doesn't matter where you place the platform, you'll get the same amount. I've tested that in my base. I suspect the amount of minerals you get from the mining platform is depending on how rich the mining nodes are in your territory. As you're in the middle of the river... not so much :P
If you want an easier acid farm you can just build on any polluted land so long as it's not near water. Pumps on polluted land will only pick up polluted water, but if it's near water it will pick up dirty water too. If you want only dirty water then put your pumps in non polluted land, assuming you didn't plop your base in the middle of Chernobyl!
My base was there for the longest time until my hive joined in, now we own a small island compound at -1219,-2170. I have the purification base aka The Fortress that is in the water with 12 tier 3 rifle cannons mounted upfront and we have 3 acid farms with 21 water pumps going each plus a farm with 50 plots going.
Between me putting out this base location in my Ultimate Base Build video the other day and you now showing the same spot we can guarantee it won't be free ever again lol. For Clarification; You don't have to put it in the water like that. You can be on the land on the corner and still get the spawns on both sides of the water.
Or just setup outside blackfell (main, not oil). Mobs don't spawn in existing spawn areas. You get polluted, water, blackfell chest runs, alligators and mobs only spawn outside blackfell, opposite the river.
Oil + Pollution + Water is not possible yes :) Blackfell gets you oil + pollution That being said fuel is "useless" as you can get it quite easy with doing the prime wars Not talking PVP server
I know last season stardust mining platform could be built on the second story of my tower. Don't know if that was fixed, if not don't even need to move over
I swear everyone's territory has more space than mine. Is this possible? Why do I feel so cramped in my territory and incapable of these sprawling and wife set ups?
Tbh….purifications suck. And it’s annoying ppl keep trying to find ways to not do them. I wish it was something you could do more than once a week or we had incentive to do it more than once a week bc it could if implemented be a really fun part of the game but it’s just a chore and an easy one at that
is there a way to either, move your buildings around inside your territory (all at once or like multiple selected, as you do with saving building blue prints), or reposition your territory without moving the buildings? Because I have moved my house now a couple of times and the territory space is not very well positioned around my buildings, limiting my options
hey, i watch almost every video you make on once human and it got me wondering, am in a polluted zone like you with no 0 on my back i have ten pumps running for polluted water but it takes for ever and uses alot of energy, so my question to you is why the hell would you wanna build a acid farm like this? use planterboxes and some contaminated seeds and the yield is the same, costs way less energy and ur growchrooms do all the work. and you can put you base anywhere you want. oh and mining platforms dont need to be on land i have them in my base indoors on water
@@P4wnyhofit's not. I've setup and run both. Acid and water lines are harder than just slapping fields down. They also don't get smashed when you move. It's also like 2w for a sprinkler and 10w per pump.

Naja beim ersten mal spielen war Säure wichtig weil man es nicht besser wusste, aber ab dem Wechsel auf den schweren Server, hat man nicht eine Sekunde Säure Probleme, dann lieber mit dem tragbaren Treibstoff Sternenstaubquelle herstellen. Wenn man den Perk hat. Und die Reinigung naja da schieße ich lieber selber und habe wenigstens bissel was zu tun. Und ob das der beste Spot ist, ich weiß ja nicht aber hey wenn es für dich die beste Stelle ist um bissel Säure zu farmen dann go for it.

There is one memetic that increases your territory size. It's under Building Memetics and it's called Territory Expansion. After you learn it you can interact with your Territory Terminal and press H to increase it's size.
Imagine ppl wanna bann players who have floating base because they exploit that the purification monsters cant do anything with those bases up in the air, meanwhile if u build on the water where monsters also cant get to your base is ok. :) and i dont know why u care this much about purification. I thought when i saw the first videos how hard is it maybe in hard server its hard, but its easy af even in hard server.
Appreciate your videos but I really don't understand the hype to farm acid through polluted water, I never had acid farm just farm from mobs using food and never had any problems with acid,baa I have 5k left from last play through,acid it's a BIG noise for nothing
@@P4wnyhof Why tho? Isn't it waaaay harder to get it rather then acid? Since the moment I started, I've been stacked on acid, and never had the amount below 1k+, most of the time being 5k+. Mixed fuel is stardust source, it is premfuel, which are always a pain.

on the novice server, the pollution area is reduced to mostly the land, you can still utilize this method in a slightly different spot.

Those are good spots near Evergreen, I was there last season, good place to get acid and at the same time have part of your base not in the poluted area. I was using the spot in ur last video about the perfect spot then I moved to this really nice spot in chalk peak at -1183, 2156.

Acid farming with polluted water is one of the slowest and least efficient ways to make acid. This is not helpful.

Plain water and contaminated water. But I guess there is no oil like in other locations.

My Planter Boxes are growing wheat for beer :) Got no planter boxes for acid
Also this is vastly easier to setup than any planter box setup

I am even more in the polluted zone than you are, but my water pumps still pump dirty water and polluted water. Any advice anyone?
Your water pump for only dirty water gotta be outside the pollution!
