Really enjoyed this video, what a stunning loco BP is so thank's for showing this, will be at SVR steam gala in April so looking forward to seeing this beauty, been told by a mate who works there that BP won't be in steam at the gala but just on display, that'll do me, i have subscribed to you...Mal
Jeremy Hosking, a very keen railway enthusiast with deep pockets, who has saved a magnificent stud of diesel and steam locomotives of which he must be very proud of and to which all railway enthusiasts should be extremely grateful.
The last time I saw BP would have been at Lock Lane, when the crossing box still existed. The barriers had unfortunately failed in the descendant and motorists were understandably getting pretty hot under the collar, stuck there. We have a solution for failed barriers - we release the hydraulics with two simple bleed valves, allowing the barriers to be operated manually. Then wait for S & T to arrive to sort matters out. Being off duty, I wasn’t able to help Donald who was freaking out.
Very happy that BLUE PETER is back in service! At least she’s not in that extremely ugly Brunswick green! There’s only one locomotive that it looks good in! Did you know what would be awesome blue pita tornado and The Flying Scotsman all in one video! The last surviving A1 a A2 and A3!
Very enjoyable and respectfully filmed. All looking relaxed and natural. Great camera btw 👍

@@dominicbaylis2538 doesn’t he own bitten too?
He’s a brexiteering, tax dodging bellend
Congratulations restoration team. You've made this locomotive look as young as Tornado when she was first launched
Am I alone in considering this gentleman to be massively underrated?
