in terms of of gaming there is not much difference in gaming on 8600g when paired with rx 7600 . Both Ryzen 5 7600 and ryzen 5 8600g paired with amd rx 7600 there is only few fps difference which you won’t be able to notice with your naked eyes . Indeed in geekbench mark 8600g scores less but when paired with discreet gpu performs on par with r5 7600 if you are planning to go with 8600g and wanted to add gpu later definitely go for it. No cpu is a bad cpu literature may many thing but in real life testing it perform well

8700g reason the cpu is made on the latest architecture and 5700g is still 3rd gen which will go with 3rd gen nvme and motherboard which close your future upgrade.
