These guys drink like a gallon of water a day well before the challenge and then eat massive amounts of food in prep as well. They also have control over the nausea receptors in the brain and their gag reflex. Adam is just a normal dude, but yeah, you need serious discipline and skill to eat vast quantities of food. And the sad part is they are doing damage to their bodies. I mean, they permanently stretch their stomachs and what they do not realize is it is effectively shortening their life. If, God forbid these competitive eaters were put in a survival situation where they get stranded, they would not last 24 hours. But, then again, you only live once, so fuck it, do what you love.

I did this challenge last year with a friend and we both beat it. Look up steak and main on Facebook and you will find me. We went for ice cream after words

@@PolishJezus my buddy had his plate of Steaks and double mash. I have my plate of steak with mash and corn. My buddy finished in 18 minutes d then I did at 36 minutes.

Those Delmonico steaks were amazing. Only difference I had was instead of prime rib they changed it to veal chop. Almost 200 ppl lost to the challenge when we did it and only 47 beat it. we made it 49 afterwards.
