I'm so used to Vixen's version that its kinda weird to hear him sing this lol, but since he wrote it once you actually hear him, you can tell it's totally a Richard Marx style song too. I'm a fan of Richard's and it's cool to hear him cover it, but I gotta say I prefer Vixen's.
@@debbieburns3848 Yes, he wrote the song snd a great song it is, but he sang lyrics from the second verse in the first verse in this video. That is how he f'd them up.
Interesting version, but it’s definitely much better the interpretation (and this isn’t their best song) of my dearest and beautiful Jan, Janet, Share and Roxy, the legendary and amazing Vixen.
I guess you've never heard Jan shredding live😊 This song is just overall much better suited to Vixen regardless of perceived talent level..Janet and the other ladies vocals and energy make all the difference.
@@rockstarmediausa779 she was great indeed. Too bad there was a little Hollywood involved in their recording, because Michael Landau did the guitars on the song.
This song only suit for a female to sing it, although RM wrote it, but sure as HELL only Vixen can make this song more alive and soulful. Its kinda weird and awkward to see these guys moving around trying to make this song sound better, sure as hell it ain't. they're making it worse 😉
Not near as polished as this version ua-cam.com/video/Oe3mc7nIPMA/v-deo.html with Dan Huff on guitar. For some soulful soloing check it out. Great song.
No where near as polished as vixen and that guitar player isnt great an angry bee on guitar.. Poor to say the least.. vixen were much more soulful in there music
I think the people who think this version is better should fight the people who think the vixen version is better, that way, both sets of idiots can end themselves. Lolololol while you’re at it, take the Hagar lovers and the Roth lovers , too. Cherone will be the last man standing hahahahaha
@@neolacisst's pretty easy. I wrote some songs back in my band days and was also a drummer, but there are drummers out there who could do my own song more justice than I ever could. Vixen version is much better, it's as simple as that and doesn't make this version bad, just is what it is.
NOBODY'S BETTER THAN RICHARD NOEL MARX!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏👏👏👏HE WROTE IT HE SINGS IT & HE PLAYS THE INSTRUMENTS!!!

Cover it? He wrote it and produced Vixen's 1st album lol
Vixen's version is much better, good thing he gave it to them first.
This is awesome! I love this tune from Vixen and didn't realize Richard Marx did a cover!
He wrote the lyrics to the song.
It's his song lol. Technically neither version is a cover since Vixen did it first, but Richard Marx wrote the song and produced Vixens first album.
Amazing music ,
Beautiful song❤❤❤❤❤
I added this to a Play List, to listen to later.
Que buen guitarrista!! Buenos músicos y gran cantante!!!
LOVELOVELOVE❣️❣️❣️
The Vixen version is way much better!!! Janet ROCKS!!!!
Back to the awesome 80's! Back to glam/hair metal!!!
He may have wrote it but Vixen rocked it much better. And they never fucked up the lyrics.
How can he f****** the lyrics to his own song..... He did write it you know
@@debbieburns3848 Yes, he wrote the song snd a great song it is, but he sang lyrics from the second verse in the first verse in this video. That is how he f'd them up.

Interesting version, but it’s definitely much better the interpretation (and this isn’t their best song) of my dearest and beautiful Jan, Janet, Share and Roxy, the legendary and amazing Vixen.

No Way!!! Jan Ripped that shit...And Brit Lightning Shreds Bro...

Robbin Crosby's guitar!!!
Vixen way better RiP Jan and Roxy rock those drums and sheron on the bass sounds better her rhythm parts on the bass pop and groove better
Vixen's version is definitely better, but Richard did write the song, which was a Huge hit for Vixen. :-)

Vixens version is better
This version is way better!!!!! And he wrote the song anyway!!
Way better in what way? Agree to disagree on this take..Vixen version much better.
Not near as polished as this version ua-cam.com/video/Oe3mc7nIPMA/v-deo.html with Dan Huff on guitar. For some soulful soloing check it out.
Great song.
waayyyy better than vixen's version
Andrew glionna not really, Janet Gardner puts more balls to the song than him. This song was totally made for Vixen.
Andrew glionna Maybe but I'd rather see vixen in leather/spandex!😜
Jman👀
Well whether or not its better, RM earns cos he wrote it (or maybe co-wrote it)
Dude, how in the hell do you screw up the lyrics to your own song? 🤦♂🤣
No where near as polished as vixen and that guitar player isnt great an angry bee on guitar.. Poor to say the least.. vixen were much more soulful in there music
their, not "there", you moron.
Peace of crap. Vixen version is much much better. Why Richard?
The song was written by Richard Marx along with The Tubes' lead singer, Fee Waybill.

Marx=Fail
How can he fail when he wrote the damn song... although I also like Vixen’s version better.
