I’ve been a die-hard Philly sports fan my entire life and remember watching Angelo when he had a show on Comcast Sportsnet.
I think after 2017, people have learned to let the Andy Reid hate go. After all, we did win a Super Bowl before he did. I personally was rooting for him in 2020 and was happy to see him win yesterday.
On Trea Turner, I believe that overtime people have realized that these players are human beings and not robots like some people make them out to be. Sabatoging a player who works hard doesn’t do anyone any good. All Trea needed was a little encouragement and look what happened.

Since this interview, the Phils resigned Nola and the Eagles beat the Chiefs… Also the Sixers have dropped 3 games. I think he was right when he said it was time to retire.

Do you think they initially wanted this type of defense because of our historical poor drafting of cornerback talent? This type of defense in many ways deelphasizes the need for a shut down cornerback…

I agree with Angelo on Andy Reid, I'll never understand the love for Andy in Philly! He went 1-4 in NFCCGS and lost us a SB! Mostly because of his stubbornness of not running the damn ball, and went years without a true #1 WR until T.O.! Andy finally figured it out in KC, but he never did here! His stubbornness cost us multiple CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!

He finally figured it out in KC? Lol. Maybe a guy named Mahomes is the reason he figured it out. Just like Belichick hasn’t won anything after Brady left (or before when he coached Cleveland). Or how Shanahan never won a SB after Elway retired. Or how Jimmy Johnson was a genius in Dallas but went to Miami with an old Marino and won nothing. OCoaches in sports get too much credit when they win and too much criticism when they lose.

Well maybe if they gave Andy more offensive firepower things would have been different. Look at his 4 consecutive nfc title games. First years philly lost to one of the best offenses in history vs rams and philly was a young, up and coming team. 2nd year philly lost to one of the best defenses of all time vs tampa with multiple hall of famers. 3rd year Brian Westbrook, who was the biggest offensive weapon on the team, tore his triceps at the end of the regular season and McNabb went down in the first half vs Carolina from a cheap shot when McNabb was already down. 4th yr eagles won bs falcons. 5th yr in 08 eagles went on a great run and almost got back to the super bowl as a wildcard team with an aging,almost-done #5. Only one of those years did the eagles have a really good team all around and ended up losing to the best qb of all time who was in his prime.

Andy/mahomes is different than brady/belichick. Belichick didn't coach Brady up and run the offense. Andy pretty much molded mahomes.

Sirriani is a BS artist same as Gannon...As far as the secondary goes, the off the ball coverage/ scheme is what the front office wants and I'm sure it's a analytical thing they go by. It's a crock of 💩 philosophy.

@@kevinb2844 IDK. But what I do know is that the 2 starting corners are making bank all the while playing off coverage. That in in of itself makes no sense to me. Might as well put that money in another position.
