- Saw this knock-off version on Amazon and thought I would like to show you the difference between it and the real deal -- for about over 3 bucks more, you'll get the original version which has better quality all throughout. If you're curious to see how they compare, then this video is for you. :)
Wow! I have the dupe! Who knew? I actually love the size of it. The cards are so much easier to handle. The card stock is thin but I don’t find that’s a issue for me. Standard size size need too much space to lay out. I see it’s now disappeared from Amazon so I got there just in time. Phew.
I’d have to agree with you on that - I have tiny hands, so the dupe’s size is actually more manageable for me too. 😅 But the bigger and heavier cardstock of the other one feels better on my hands, so I just use it instead. From the clone i love only size but colors, dinamic range is very different. I have original and I love it a lot
Yes, the fake one is no match. The colors are too different and it’s more evident in person. I guess these are being sold as “smaller version” on Amazon & even saw one on Etsy today of a bootlegged deck disguised as “new smaller version”. It’s super sad. I feel sorry for the actual deck creators.
A friend of mine bought me the dups one so I think I use those ones still in new to tarot and then later get the original Chris Anne version. And it’s hard to get these original here in Africa so I guess we will settle for the dups because when we reach out to these creators they ignore us

I love the size of the dups one. Wish the original had mini version too. I have this dups too but just for size n carrying easy. I do reading for myself n frns only so it’s fine as I m not professional

@@theravenseertarot yes. Small cards r so easy to shuffle n carry n looks cute too lol. I try to get small size decks as much as possible as I m not good in trimming n stuff...I hope there will be mini version of original light sheer too
It looks like the original one but my deck smells bad,like bad paper. Should I keep it or return it ? Thanks
Oh my. Personally, if something about the deck I’m using is associated with a negative emotion or feeling, I tend to not use it. If it smells awful or even if it doesn’t - and just has a strong paint smell or something, it would be a bit distracting. Mine didn’t have any scent at all, but if it did I would return it and ask for a replacement. ✨

How is the card stock for the dupes
It’s okay - more flimsy and bendy than the original. And it has this weird texture, kinda smooth and slippery. :)

Yeah, it’s sad that Amazon sells it and a bunch of other bootlegged decks too. They fool people by saying it’s a pocket-sized version or whatever, and unfortunately, I have seen other tarot readers use the fake ones. I guess they’re unaware they bought a bootlegged version. Sad.
