- In this Flight Simulator 2020 video we will make a flight near Everest and landing in one of the world's most dangerous airports - Paro (Bhutan)!
Most realistic ultra graphics of the MSFS 2020 powered by high-end PC (RTX 3090 + Core i9) lets us experience amazing immersion into the flight!
Paro Airport located in a long, deep, and winding river valley and known for its dangerous approach. Its runway surrounded by very high mountain peaks. What makes landing in this video even more entertaining is strong 20-30 kts crosswind which blew my plane off the runway!
Microsoft Flight Simulator is an airplane game, the next generation of one of the most beloved simulation franchises. It lets you fly from light planes to wide-body jets and explore incredibly realistic world. You can create your flight plan and fly anywhere on the planet.

how can u download more ram?? have i missed a joke or something?

Yeah, which took 30 attempts...
@Chris Jarram You mean 1 go around due to wind?
@@statingtheobvious8119 No, he attempted the landing 30 times - didn't you watch the video where he says this?

Imagine seeing footage like this 20 years ago? People would swear it was real. They definitely wouldn't believe it was a simulator lol
The color would have been a givaway :)
I JUST thought to myself: "If you showed me a screenshot of this when I was a child playing FS4 and told me that's the same game in a couple of years, I'd have told you to **** off..." 😀

@@auricom24 Yeah, but that would never run on my 286/20Mhz... ;-)
some of it is great and quite impressive.. but then some mountain sides look like they could be out of age of empires... just a blurry vague texture with no detail, something a 650m could of created a decade ago.. but then you have impressive hill sides with hundreds of fully texturized trees looking flawless.. and then you land and look at the exterior of the plane or anything concerning the airport and its again absolute bricks that a 650m could run.. doesnt make sense

This definitely has got to be one of the most deluxe channels on the whole of UA-cam. I mean, the presentation and the voice alone are something from a BBC documentary.
The realism you generate with your editing is incredible. Awesome work! 👌
10 Points fot the touchdown -- 12 points for the patience 😁
A landing is good if everyone survived.
It is perfect when you can use the plane again.
I played one of the earlier ones and landed perfectly first time. So long as the right way up doesn't count.
As someone who has experienced this landing in real life, I must say, it is indeed one of the most beautiful landings you can experience. The area arund the airport is breathtaking. Fun fact is there are only 15-20 pilots who are allowed to land here because they receive special training to do the landing. The landings are so smooth you don't expect that this is the most difficult airport to land. Would very highly recommend travelling to Bhutan as the experience is just surreal.
Any tips on where to go/how to plan your trip? Nepal and Bhutan are countries I would absolutely love to visit.
yeah no thanks
Not to take away from the achievements of these Pilots. But when the valley opens up after the last turn before final approach. It looks like a 747 could land there haha

The handful of pilots that are allowed to fly this route are very talented. What a crazy approach and landing.
Loved it! Great pacing. Love how you showed us so much detail about how you were setting up the plane. The only thing I wished was that we could see the whole plane during the replay. Btw, that downdraft was scary,!
the taxiway lights part made me giggle
This is another video that is reason why I was shocked when I saw how small amount of subscibers he has. This man deserves MORE!!!
Definitely. But it's because he's only uploaded one video in the past 5 months. Subscribers comes from consistency and high activity, among other things
Hi max737Ifly, just wanted to say that I am absolutely in LOVE with your videos. What a great job !!! I watch them as if they were documentaries.... You make me feel like traveling around the world within heavy aircraft's cockpits, as if I was an airline pilot... Amazing! Thank you very much.
This is an awesome idea for making amazing use of the sim. Top notch. I’ve just recently this past week picked up a medium grade pc so I could play the game also. Nothing beats a beautifully put together video like this though. Well done.

the video, editing, images, the humor...spot on, and i've been watching flight sim videos since i was like 10yo and this has to be the best landing i have ever seen, so well done
Superb presentation. I'm a flight sim noob, and only just about managed to control the thing in the air with an Xbox pad, so this level of control is seriously impressive.

I love how serious the video is but the captions just scream funny. A ton of effort deserves a ton of subs. This was a joy to watch. 👍🏾
The fact that you included the part with the taxi lights is absolutely hilarious 😂
I tried this landing many times as well on the series x. It is truly difficult. Getting around those mountains and getting the proper descent speed was the hardest for me, not to mention the crosswind. Well done!
My brother who is 11 made this landing his first try the very first time he played this SIM or any flying sim. I have tried 10+ times and crash every single time. I think he is a natural pilot , its insane.
@@tac6044 Make a fix five nautical from the runway at 1500 AGL and then 700 feet per minute descent. Get you there every time at these speeds
@@somestuffithoughtyoumightl6985 I'm taking a bit of a break from it because it's very frustrating. Especially when I see someone who doesn't even know how to use a flight Sim make the landing on first attempt.
i nose-dived mine into a mountain.....Glorious Sound!!!
I made it on the first try with a single prop Cessna. Took me two tries with a twin engine. At least 8 tries on a Learjet. After the Learjet I did the 737, that took about 5 tries. Once you get your approach/waypoint/elevation points down, it gets easier but holy hell is it exponentially harder when there's more speed involved.
bruh this looks so damn realistic
Bro imagine not saying that it’s MSFS 2020 and putting it at like 4K-8K that way you’d really have no solid way of knowing if it’s real or fake especially at a high altitude

The thing is that the “most dangerous” airports are often the most safest.
Because the pilot would be totally concentrated on getting the job done right,
In the “easy” airports, pilots are often less concentrated, causing errors.
For an untrained pilot they are the most dangerous though
This is completely false, wrong, and an idiotic thing to say Erik.
No matter what airport you're landing at the pilots don't want to die either, they give their 100% focus on the landing no matter what the airport is.
You literally have zero experience in the aviation industry since you're saying that, you've most likely never flown an airplane, yet you say what you said like it's fact or like you know what you're talking about.
You won't find a commercial pilot who doesn't give 100% of their focus on landing and making sure they survive regardless of the airport.
@@gregorybentley5707 You completely missed the point, habit bias is a real thing and is taken very seriously in the industry that you pretend to know. You can be 100% focus and still be subject to the bias of safety because your brain disregard little things that would otherwise alert you in a more stressful environment. Ground control always has to deal with pilots going to the wrong landing strip because 99% of the time that's the one they land on, there's a lot of small mistakes done everyday by experienced pilots in a busy airport that they are used to. It has nothing to do with focus, it just takes one mechanical issue, one problem to deal with, one small thing to disturb you to make you forget about a little something. In a dangerous airport you would do the checklist every 5 minutes because you really think there is a risk for safety while in a place that you know well it would just be a normal day.
@@kaviramyead7987 the point wasn't habit basis or complacency, thanks for the comment and explanation but I'm well versed and educated in the industry with more than a decade of experience.
"Ground control" doesn't deal with pilots landing, by your phraseology and your examples I'm guessing you too have zero experience in the industry.
The comment specifically stated a lack of effort and focus based on the perceived dangers of the approach and that a pilot was more likely to make a fatal mistake due to the fact that it wasn't an inherently dangerous approach, which isn't something we usually see in the industry.
I get what you're saying but let's be honest here, this guy wasn't talking about habit basis or complacency.
There's a point to be made there and I agree with you but that's really far off the mark from what the comment was trying to express, if he was aware of such things and their relationship to aviation accidents his comment surely would not have sounded the way it would have.
He meant on the most basic of levels that your pilot flying into Cleveland inherently gives less effort from a safety perspective than someone flying a more dangerous approach and that's just GENERALLY not the case at all.
We could talk about the minutiae all day but again, the dude was talking about advanced aviation safety concepts like you're discussing.
@@gregorybentley5707 take a chill pill man hahahah

Fantastic video Sir
Passengers are often quite alarmed when a Go Around is executed.
The fact that the flight crew have elected to Go Around displays competence and adhesion to limitations.
During such an event, passengers should feel reassured, rather than unnerved, confident that they are in safe hands.
Better to get there late, than not at all.
I love how he put "real footage" for us not to be confused between rl and the sim
Nice landing, dude... smoothly and perfect. Good job!
