I did some reading up on this and figured out why it happens, it’s a glitch that I like to call……. The Never Expected Glitch. This most likely happens because they likely didn’t expect you to fail/die in this Quick-Time Event (QTE) as Female Jesse Hence why a few of Cathrine Taber’s voice clips were forgotten in a few of the QTE’s in this game.

@@anthonymahan4142 that’s unlikely, if you look at it, the tentacles were around her Femur, and the femur is the toughest bone in the body. Still, the Femur is not impossible to break, and it doesn’t look like much pressure is being applied.
