Loved this video! So fun to see so many different bookstores 📚 I really loved the one with the black shelves! But I do wish the pink building would have been a bookstore too because that would be so cute!
omg Sara you are in my hometown!! that bookstore did used to be on the other side of the street and they just added the coffee bar area!! I’m so glad u liked my cute lil town🩷
one day ripped my heart out i didn't consume the show IT CONSUMED ME. I'm not a huge crier but I sobbed the entirety of the last episode. I ended up crying for over an hour. so now I'm scared to read the book lol but the show was worth the pain in the end bc it was SO SO GOOD
OMG YES ONE DAY TORE MY HEART TO SHREDS BUT I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND READING IT FIRST WATCHING THE MOVIE WITH ANNE HATHAWAY THEN THE SHOW ITS SUCH A SURREAL EXPERIENCE 💗💗💗
I read Blush last year it was fun! Nothing earth shattering but I really liked the concept of these three generations of women bonding over these books that the grandmother used to read in her book club and finding their own voices. Amazing scenery.
When your favorite booktuber visits your favorite book stores 😍😍 I also used to work at the coffee shop that you visited! It’s in my hometown! So glad you had a great time 💕
Finlay Donavan !!!! Yes. I’ve read it and loved it. Funny , silly, mystery. Reminded me of the show Dead to Me. Hope you like it. Looked like a fun time overall!
LIVING for this video cause I’m from NJ and these are my spots I live closely to Manasquan, point and spring lake so those are my go to spots! I love taking my son to thunder road ❤ and I just checked out book house the other day it was so cute!
As a Jersey girl who works at an indie bookstore, I really enjoyed this video! I've visited one of the bookstores in this video but I rarely think to go to indie bookstores in my spare time for the most part but I definitely need to plan a trip now.
This was so fun and wholesome!! I love book shopping in local stores, I also try to do that whenever I travel because you just never know what to find! I’ve watched you for a while now and I just started my own Booktube channel, just letting you know that you’re a true inspiration 🩷🩷🩷
I really enjoyed watching your video! I gasped when you entered the first bookshop. We go there every summer. My family and I LOVE that town. It is our home away from home. Such good vibes. 💕
omg i was waiting for lauren to appear in this video!! i watched her vlog first and was hoping she would make an appearance in yours. my fav bestie duo❤️❤️
Love love love as usual ❤😍 I love browsing through bookstores even when I don't buy anything!!!! I have been watching your channel for so long and have been a reader forever and your channel literally inspired me to start my own!! Editing is so much harder than I realised haha! xoxox
i LOVE booktowne and little point bookshop! they’re both so close to me. little point bookshop moved to the bigger location across the street about a year ago!
i live in a pretty small town so i don’t have bookstores near me. the closest one is barnes 45 minutes away. i always wanted local bookstores close to me, so needless to say i loved watching this video!
oh i LOVE Finlay Donovan!!😭❤ it's rare from me cuz I'm not usually a fan of love triangles but the vibe of this series definitely made up for the romance part lol. please read the series Sara, i think you're gonna love it!❤
I read 'One Day' last year and finished the show yesterday, and they are both masterpieces. One of my favourite stories ever, and the adaptation from novel to miniseries has been done surprisingly well with all the key moments of the novel intact. I'm really looking forward to you reading it and getting your thoughts and review!
I’m going through a bit of a rough time and this made me desperately want to spend a day with myself, do some book shopping, go to a café, read and just spend some alone quality time ☕️📚
Finley Donovan series is so funny, especially the audio. Their voices are so funny. I have not read the physical books and honestly don't usually care for audio. These are just crazy. 👍
Yea you went to Booktowne. Love it. I didn’t get there as much as I wished but when I go I buy a lot. I get my favorite bookmarks from there, bought journals, tote bags. I got a book nerd baseball cap which I haven’t worn yet. I’m getting shore withdrawal. The second one if it’s where I think I almost put a request to check it out in the summer. Both the place in S.L and the one in point I want to check them out. I bought the little life months ago plus have ebook copy haven’t read it yet before I had copies tried library but gave up only because I wanted to read at right time.
Love the independent bookstores!!! I can’t remember the last time I went to a Barnes so I love to see it. I’m very spoiled though to live within walking distance of the largest independent bookstore!
I went into A Little Life knowing it was a traumatic story, and that really helped me manage my expectations. I really enjoyed the book/characters. It’s just very raw and very real.
I literally love you're videos so much! I just read the first 3 finlay Donovan books and i have to agree that the audiobooks are pretty entertaining! They are definitely some fun fast-paced reads!
So excited you got Beartown! I just read it and loved it (the first book I’ve given 5 stars in a very long time). It definitely deals with some heavier topics so be prepared for that, but it’s so good! And a wintery book so read it soon!
Thank you for creating this video! As a New Jersey native that has really enjoyed creating store specific book hauls, I ate this video up with a spoon! I have visited, purchased books from, and filmed hauls for Booktowne and River Road Books and while they were smaller stores, I found some pretty good books from them. River Road Books was where I got my copy of He Wanted the Moon, which is one of my all-time favorite biographies. I used to like to visit The Cheese Cave when I was in that area, but they sadly closed down. I was at Little Point Book Shop back in January for a Silent Book Club meeting and I really want to visit Thunder Road Books at some point. The manager goes above and beyond to engage with the community and is filled with magnificent ideas. She was at that same Silent Book Club meeting as well. I have not visited The Book House, but a lot of new bookstores are popping up and I need to update my list. Have you been to The Book Garden in Cream Ridge? You HAVE to pay a visit to their store and include them if you ever do a book haul of this nature in the near future. They are an amazing used bookstore and the prices are remarkable! The owners are amazing as well! Second Time Books in Mt. Laurel is also a great bookstore. Cape May County is loaded with them, eight in total. There are so many great independent bookstores that I really like giving them my business if I am possibly able and then bring them attention. The books that you acquired that stuck out to me were Beartown and Adrienne Geffel. I have meant to read Fredrik Backman and in particular A Man Called Ove, but I never got around to doing so. I have heard of Daisy Jones and the Six and it was a nominee for our Roundtable Read, but I will have to keep an eye out for that and Adrienne Geffel. Blind Date with a Book is quite an interesting concept! I took part in a few of them and enjoy putting them together. There are so many ways to approach the cover, too. I need to hone my skills some with a proper execution, but I will get there. I want to see more videos of this nature! -Josh
SARA literally i am soooo glad that you realize and take time to bookshop!! so many people have forgotten how special the experience is ❤
This was so fun going to all the indie bookstores! I love going to local bookstores. You never know what kinds of books you're going to find🥰💖
Yess!! So fun
With the first store you got an ARC that’s so cool how did you find an ARC in a book store
Thank you for supporting small businesses! I personally find this much more enjoyable than a barnes haul 💞
OMG that quote in the first bookstore "A Room Without Books Is Like A Body Without A Soul". Is on the booksleeve i love most❤❤
Finlay Donovan is so good!!! The audiobook was amazing, the narrator made it so much better than it already is!!
I swear book shopping videos are like therapy ❤❤

Thank you for letting me know about some good bookstores in NJ. I’ll have to make a day of checking them out this summer…or before. 😉
Hi Sara! Omg didn't know we are from the same place. All of those bookstores mentioned are anywhere from 10 to 25 mins from me 🙂
