Little free libraries ones I know two in Manasquan in town, one by beach end of walkway across street on 1st (that is one I do when down there more often can walk there. I went two times maybe more to one in town by park next to J.L’s in town) lThink there is another 1 or 2 but haven’t found them yet.

I have those same square shelves but from ikea and also ran out of room quick but i realized the squares are long enough for two rows of books .... so I just stick the ones I don't care if they're shown in the back row and it doubled my space.
I hope you move your bed to the wall where you have the bookshelfs and create a library on the other side, it would be so nice so that you can have a cozy little setup and you can also add more shelfs when you buy books
