Interstellar asteroid Oumuamua - 1I/2017 U1
Meet Oumuamua, a cigar shaped asteroid. It's our first confirmed visitor from interstellar space.
FIRST interstellar object detected in our solar system.
Astronomers have named the 1,300-foot long asteroid 'Oumuamua' -- it looped around our Sun back in Sept. and made its closest approach to Earth last month. Oumuamua is currently zipping through our neighborhood at 85,700 MPH
