  • My velvet beans (Mucuna pruriens) are growing great! The food forest has been mostly ignored the last few weeks but now I'm getting some time to get back out there and cleaning up. Here's a walk around to see how a few things have progressed.
I am now selling solar power systems, if you are in Florida and considering solar then get in touch! I have also had several requests about property tours, if you are interested then send me a message. All my contact info can be found at www.carl.solar

Here in Miami the velvet bean grows wild. The itchy hairs can be a nightmare though!

The ones I have aren't bad, might be slight variations in variety.

That's the only kind I have, can't remember where I originally got the seeds (I think from eBay).

Where are you located? Those nursery plants look great and I am always looking for edibles

I've had several varieties that struggled, got this one from a friend. I guess you just have to find a variety that works for your area.

Do you ever come to Gainesville....you could sell out all those plants, but save me that Jamaican cherry and mulberries and...too many great plants
