It's funny you say this, because I did that with an app (forgot which one because I've tried so many) and wow, the result was not disappointing. Looked like an alien mixed with technology (for obvious reasons lol) but like, it was so cool :D

Actually buttonless controllers are pretty accurate for future designs
Wait now I’m thinking of a controller with virtual buttons so you can put the buttons anywhere you want
You lose the tactile touch feedback though. It is difficult to use controllers like that without visually looking at them. I had some equipment at work that changed from a keyboard & monitor to completely to a touch screen, and I was no longer able to 'feel' out the keys and type without looking.

you're usually not throwing a laughing fit while saying "I'm dead", it's that perked up smile, slight chuckle, maybe even throwing your head back a little, shaking it, rolling your eyes
it represents a more complicated and common feeling that standard emojis didn't really have in their arsenal, alongside it just being less blatant
😂 is very upfront, and can feel a bit much to use, there's an absolute ton of people who don't use any emojis because of that. But 💀 isn't a direct "emoticon", so it feels more nuanced and chill.

Four is thumb sticks is practical, namely because… Using them as thumb sticks is not. They’re replacing the buttons so yeah, it works. Especially for crab grippers, it’s a solid design
