I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown
Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.
this is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation
My CFA ’Melissa Terri Swayne’ , a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
Appreciate this recommendation, hopefully I can get some insight to where the market is headed and strategies to beat the downtrend with when I hear back from Melissa.
Great process! A lot to learn here. You've all opened my eyes to options, I'm still researching and learning, but it's a great way if you play your cards right, to benefit greatly over time.
Take your time...great way to generate cash - GC
Can you get puts and then still buy some other shares of a same company, later on, if it goes below your target price? This creating a better average price.
Thank you very useful video as always.
Glad it was helpful! - GC
Hey guys, do you have any advice for traders who have sold puts, the price of the stock goes up, and you’re looking at an 80% profit on your premium with little likelihood of shares being assigned. When do you guys realize profit and use capital to move on to the next opportunity? Is there a rule of thumb? Thanks
When Selling a secured put my broker still pays me my 5.25% money market interest. Although the funds are removed from using to trade/buy. That needs to be mentioned
Thanks for the note - GC
Correct, this makes that 12% closer to 17ish % on your cash.
What is it?Goto from Indonesia and Infosys and Nippon paint?
I think it’s very important for your viewers to understand that the price is multiplied by 100 shares. If the option you sold ends up in the money and is exercised by the person you sold it to you will have to pay the strike price times 100 shares. If we are talking about Ulta beauty at $360 a share you will have to pay $36,000.
Paul, calculation on sell puts is inaccurate. At least in Fidelity, you can keep the "core" position (which is what insures the cash-covered puts) with about 5%.
In other words, you can get ~5% money market in ADDITION to whatever you get out of the puts. I do agree with 1%/month as floor (which ends as 12*1+5 = 17% annually).
Thanks for adding more info .AP
Hi I'm Italian. what do you think of the stellantis stock and the quarterly? It seems like an undervalued company to me. thanks I always follow you
Ciao! Come join the community we have done exclusive content on that company and can always do an update if it's requested!
This is the EXACT thing I watch this channel for. Keep these videos coming!!
We are very grateful to you! Thanks for watching sir and come back soon!
Can one write puts with securities secured puts instead of cash secured puts?

I am regretting not taking advantage of AMD, NVDA TSMC and ASML’s boom ever since but still grateful i kept money in the money market. With about $150k maturing soon, i plan investing in the stock market. What stocks should I look into to average down in and safely grow my money?
Would you analyze UEIC stock please?
Thanks we will give it a look .AP
I am waiting for TROW at $93. I bought some LUV. Intel I sold because of competition.
Best of luck my man - GC
Great video ....luv trow price & Ulta ....a lot of super investors think the airlines business is not a great investment unless something like COVID happened....luv=to hard pill
Great point - GC
This channel has single handedly made me sell 3 times when I had to hang on with their overly inflated doomsday narrative and now they are picking up real losers (southwest and Intel)
There's a famous quote in a movie that says "Short everything this guy touches".
Don't sell your shares
It will yield profits in the long term. You should buy the latest Tesla innovation shares
You solely responsible for your own actions...no one made you do anything apart for yourself 😉
Thanks for the note - GC
You should take everything everyone says with a grain of salt. You-tube in general has been shouting doomsday for at least 6 years now and yet over that time frame the market has exploded. I sat out because of it and missed hundreds of %. Better off just DCA’ing in to good companies/tickers and not making acting if they go up or down.
If I really like the price of the stock what I do is I write the put with a 20 or 30 percent higher in 7 or 14 days to collect some premium and get the stock even a little bit cheaper.
Nice. Having a proven proccess and sticking to it! Thanks for watching
Options can be good but need to know what you are doing. Great description of the concept though.. on the low cost premiums the selling fee a factor. Also you are dealing in blocks of 100 shares so high price stocks like nvdia mean you need 90k cash to cover just the minimum one block.
Yeap...and you need to be comfortbale with detaching yourself with big lumps of money....but can be rewarding - GC
Where can we see your live portfolio?
We don't share our portfolio , we teach a process on how to look into the financials of a stock .AP
Why so low on Rev Growth assumptions? They are at 9.8-14.8% your high is %7?
Those are his assumptions you don't need to copy them , you can do them higher if you think it will do better .AP
One thing to keep in mind is that in most accounts, your cash sits in a money market fund while the put is outstanding. Meaning you're making another ~5% on your money (at current rates anyhow) while you wait. Puts are the place to be right now :)
Thanks for sharing this with everyone .AP
Paul you have to mention that a put is a contract of 100 shares.
Correct - GC
Any thoughts on NIO? The stock seems to have hit bottom about a week ago and is up 15% in the last 5 days. Plus, the month of May could be a really strong month for the company.
yeah i also own but still down from my cost. i hope it will goes up so i can sell.
Nio is pure trash 😂
EV garbage that doesn't make any money. Only thing they produced is bagholders.
Thanks for the suggestion - GC
@@EverythingMoney Thank you for replying.
When selling you puts, you should be in the stock already to lower your basis. If not, your strike price for the put might not be hit and you could miss buying the stock for one penny
What is the commission? You will not get the option for 3.50 as you will also have the transaction cost...
Options are sold in x100 shares. So 3.50 means $350 per 1 option. Commission could be from 0.5 to $30 per transaction depending on broker and size of trade.

Bro options are .50c per contract it’s irrelevant.
@@tradingismid9988 Thx
Not BABA? I almost don't believe it hehe
Stay away from Baba... there are many other US based good companies
BABA is very good investment for long term.
@@bpolat I don't believe the Chinese market is going to do great long term. Japan hit a ceiling. I think China is headed there soon. What am I missing?
@@bpolatI suggest buying the new tesla innovation shares at this point as they are relatively cheap and are sure to yield long-term profits
Almost? 😂- GC
Paul consistently leaves this out, but the real "risk" of cash secured puts is never buying the stock. In most cases, just buying the stock you like today will result in a better outcome than running the risk of selling puts and then never owning the stock.
You are right , it happens some times that you sell the puts and don't get assigned because the price never go there .AP
Agree. You risk getting too greedy and wanting to catch it at a lower price... which it never reaches. I remember during the covid crash the market timers saying "all in when SPX touches -40%".. it never got there. Similarly, people writing puts in 2022 hoping to catch it at -30%.. never got there. If a stock in your estimation can do 10-15% annualised, what they hell are you doing risking NOT owning it trying to eke out an extra 1%. Just buy it and wait for the compounding to happen.
@@evilzzzability exactly! And especially if its your highest conviction stock. And then it runs away from you and then you end up selling puts on lower conviction stocks and more than likely they hit "your target price" and you are now stuck with stocks you never really loved in the first place. So instead of owning Google, Amazon and Apple, you have Walgreens, 3M and PayPal.
@@EverythingMoney Just bear in mind: a well diversified portfolio of actual stocks will deliver a 8-10% growth on average; a well diversified portfolio of options will deliver 0% growth, on average.
Ohhh snap!!!!
Vertical or straight put?

There’s more to it. Open interest… etc and the greeks
Every time I listen to these geniuses I lose my ass.
Thank you for your sacrifice! We appreciate you
Where is Mo?
He is in Florida .AP
i understand selling puts but I don’t understand why someone would buy puts.
If you think that market is going down you buy puts, it is safer way to short market because your losses are limited by option price you already paid.

Why Not Baba 😢😢
BABA love - GC
I brought Tesla stock a couple of weeks ago and it's up 20% - complete disaster
Congrats ! AP
Let’s buy puts in Disney then😂
Nothing wrong with that .AP
✅💎📈
📈💎✅
That’s a hundred shares you have to buy… FYI
100 shares per contract....correct - GC
You should show your portfolio and how much your loosing and making if any like Joseph Carlson does .
Tesla 300 end of the year
That would be interesting to see happen
First
Nice one - GC
Please stop with this option writing crap. It's not return-enhancing in the long run. Sure you may get paid a little on a stock that you want to own, but you'll miss out on that stock that never falls to the strike price, and sod's law says that will be the one that goes on to be a 10bagger. A stock is either a buy at a certain price or it isn't.
Ok...options trading is not for you...we are ok with that - GC
You bought baba at 300
Tax harvesting play my man - GC
Recently you have created alot of videos with inaccurate information and misleading. I totally understand how much UA-camrs make plus you're trying to sell your calculation app. But please try to be fair and more honest with your audience. Thank you 🎉
Like what? -GC
Buy NIO
Best of luck - GC
He doesn’t show his portfolio what’s the point of listening to him why learn something if u don’t know if it works
The message is very confusing and trying to be too many things to too many people - in one video he talks about disciplined cost-averaging into the market for the next 30 years, then in the next he jumps to option writing on individual stocks - two diametrically opposite strategies and timeframe considerations. I like their framework for fundamental valuing, but remember these guys are not professional money manager, have no governance, and do not make public their track record.
People he’s here for one thing to sell ur not benefiting from him he’s benefiting from u just because u don’t understand what he’s saying doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing what he’s talking about is a bunch of nothing btw
