It was on eBay in an auction... couldn’t believe my luck; managed to get it for £37 I was willing to go to £65 if things got out of control; Dual language pill tho...”it feels like a dream, oh R2 I’m I going crazy”?... did I pay too much OOK? I’m just concentrating on getting the VC Troopers and guards (not army building, one of each whatever card really for good olde times). It’s gonna cost the earth if I were doing your standards.. So wanting that AT-AT driver figure now then I can relax for a bit. Really getting into the 6” troopers too.... did you get your barge in the end?

Things snowballed however! ! 😆😉 Then once I got the while VC, I went sniffing out variants. Onky reason I'm getting multi language variations etc now is ciz they're more prevalent in the second vintage collection. As for barge... you not seen any of my vids man? I got them all together in a playlist if you wanna see them! Check out my playlists and there's one for Khetanna Sail Barge. I did get one indeed in the end!☺
Only One Kenobi I am slightly concerned as I did say to myself I’d only start a small collection for my 4 years old son as I was born in 1977 and he was born in 2015; well that spiralled out of control.... Star Wars Jedi Babies 🤩. It’s in good shape, all original Vintage to all recent.... and yes, the Legacy Millennium Falcon is truly one of the show stoppers too. Got it for £250 in mint/boxed a few months ago.... a real steal. It has indeed snowballed out of control tho, I think it’s an epidemic and I’m in need of seeking my doctor advice about it..... I just have to collect for him and me as I know he would deeply appreciate it later on. Haha.... I’ve only seen the Skiff packs not the barge, sorry “I have failed you Master” 🤣😂... I’m on it like cow fodder on a boot tread during a expedition on Tatooine!!! Your vids are infectious and dare I say; encourages me to spend more money on items I think are just wonderful to own and look at everyday.... it just doesn’t get tiring, a real joy! @@OnlyOneKenobi here's a pic of the back of the box in wich the 3.75 Lt. Oxixo came in: www.coleka.com/media/item/20160312/shadows-of-the-dark-side-battle-over-endor-1-of-2-002.jpg (he also has a 6-inch release) I think the silver line on the helmet is meant to be some kind of rank thing, like the sandtrooper's orange, white or black pauldrons, but I'm not sure. I am sure that the grey lines your other loose TIE pilot has on his helmet mean that he is an "ace" pilot. Other than the head the only difference between Oxixo and the pilot that came with the VC TIE fighter is that the later one came with an intercom painted on the left forearm.
The Legacy pilot was from the cancelled wave (12 figs I think?) that became a chase line similar to T.V.C lost line blue cardback ( I "think"?) The other with the silver stripe is Lt. Oxixo.,not sure what line. I find it strange that they wear life support because there's none in a tie fighter.,but in T.F.A Finn and Poe aren't wearing life support.,yet the Tie Fighter pilots are? I see someone already mentioned Lt. Oxixo. Cheers O.O.,Great as always.
@@TheOutdoorlife78 best for ones like this is to be patient and avoid the buy it now button... stick it out and wait for auctions. Also search deep into Ebay to see what's hidden in job Lots etc. Hope you can get one if you need it! 👍
Great review, they changed the picture on the Vintage Trilogo tie fighter pilot around 84-85, that's a great Variation.Not sure what my VC 65 card is?😎
@@OnlyOneKenobi Yeah, I posted before I saw the end of it. LOL. Definitely agree. Might do some custom work with it. The Boba Fett figure comparison between the TVC release and the recent 5 POA twin pack release is the same. Much better headsculpt on the 5POA figure. Gonna try and pick up a spare and put the 5POA headsculpt on a TVC Fett! That would rock!!!

I've always liked the look of the TIE Fighter, but like you, I'm not a fan of the removable helmets at all. I just think they, along with Stormtroopers, Snowtroopers etc. should be faceless. I get what Hasbro were trying to do with it, but no.
Killer I got a few of these unfortunately this one is kinda spendy he has been for a while and I would still love to get my hands on one of those cards he one of the few I'm still missing
One of my favourite cards in the whole vintage collection ,I got the revenge variant 5-6 months ago for £35 which wasn't too bad for a minty revenge, would be nice to see a re-release with that image in the tie fighter you showed as it's a belter indeed 👌 do you know exactly how many "return" vc were released with the "revenge" variant ? I have the tie fighter pilot, khettana R2, luke endor,vader, leia, stormtrooper. I'm sure I've seen a rebel commando revenge, were all "returns" available with the "revenge" variant in the first run ? I'm not a completist but I am trying to complete the revenge line as I really like it as a sweet variant , great video only one 😁

It's like Hasbro are teasing us by not giving us a final edition of certain figures... Maybe it is their way of selling more products... But still they get a lot of things wrong a little too often wich make me think that they are just harvesting from us collectors and fans where a random consumer wouldn't notice... Did you see the news that they are bringing out an Attack Of the Clones vintage figure in the new line? Yes, I got excited too! ! UNTIL I found out that it was the Clone Trooper?! Eh.... I really thought Dooku would be a priority! ! Haha ☺😊
For your storage needs Only One Kenobi would it be feasible for you to install or have installed tracks on the ceiling? I mean something like they have in libraries for books on both sides. Of course they would be much thinner and lighter since books are so heavy. Moveable walls that can be separated to store carded figures on both sides . A few of these would cover your collection . They would fit in a track system running on ball bearings to move them easily like giant pages of a book. You could just close it up when you're done admiring your collection. Put stoppers so the cased figures in star cases would be protected. Just an idea I had.. . . . . :)
IN time as he collection grows storage will be a challenge. Maybe divide it into Volumes? Store away Vol 1 and 2 then Start at Vol 3 onwards? I keep my stuff out of the light sealed in graded form. I use comic boxes and can fit 12-13 graded cased figures. Raw carded I could fit a lot more but the AFA cases keep those thin cards flat. Slightly UV resistant
That single Imperial logo Pilot probably is en error figure? I have a 2004 carded Boba Fett VOTC with no chest insignia. An error for sure so probably yours is the same type of thing?

I've got couple of the original 80s tie pilot's loose and potf thrown in with the potf tie fighter i won on EBAY
Decent enough figure, but my favourite Tie Fighter Pilot at this scale is the recent 5 POA from Rogue One. It has the nicest headsculpt.

We're lucky to have the VC collection to pour over the minutiae of it. Over time we will discover more !
