Hi, here in Australia they were quite common in the seventies, eighties and Nineties. Normally they would be diesels. A friend of mine had a yellow one with the diesel engine and back in 2007 decided to sell it. Back in those days they were not really valued even though it was in very good condition. He advertised it in a Sydney newspaper for $6500 and in two weeks only received two phone calls. The first call was from a guy in the South Island of New Zealand who had a mini production line to restore old Land Cruisers and purchased it sight unseen. The second call was from a guy in Florida who really wanted to buy it, but missed out. That really opened my eyes, as to just how important these vehicles are. Every Land Cruiser is special in its own way. My Dad had a short wheel base FJ45 and I have a 100 series wagon and they are the greatest touring vehicles you could own. Thanks for your time.

I adore the troopy body style. Can't wait until I can send one to Icon TLC for a revamp. You truly make the most amazingly beautiful landcruisers

What a beautiful piece of engineering made only better with your company's work! Wish I had one of these bad boys I don't think I'd need more than this truck and a trailer to travel all over the us!

Really nice, here in Europe are a bit more common but still rear, I have one fully restored with a hj61 turbo diesel engine, the extra length makes it much more practicle then a 40 or 42...

So glad you shared! What a badass machine to have that much capacity and function but can now haul ass as well. I had been wandering which motor you had been using when you say EEE ROD. 6.2 liters. That's awesome.

Hopefully they installed a limited slip unit in the rear differential, otherwise hard acceleration around a corner is gonna spin the inside tire like mad! Or a locker for off road

    Mr. Ward or ICON artists,
Sorry... Im sure you have answered this question before. What is the reason why Toyota doesn't work with you guys to sell modern engines for your FJ model restorations? Its unfortunate that you are able to stay true to the brand on the Bronco with Ford engines, and Hemi engines in your Dodge/Chrysler products.
Hope you are able to get Toyota to change their mind. My dream would be an FJ44 or 45 with a Totota V8.
    Keep up the amazing work!
