My grandfather was the last basket weaver in my village. He did historical roofs, fences and all kinds of stuffs just from such simple materials.

Do what you need to do. Being a good dad is one of the most important things in life.
I think we'll all get along just fine with a few less videos. Your content is relevant and welcome whether it's once a week or once every couple of months.
Quality work is not easy or quick, nor can everybody do it. Your vids are high quality Felix, and I am happy to watch them whenever you have a chance to make them. If you only did a few each year I'd still enjoy watching them. Life is about balancing all the things pulling us in different directions and arranging them in importance, with family being the most important. Aim first for family happiness then we will be here for you whenever you have time for us.
I am glad that you still make new videos. However family comes first. Bleib gesund. 😉

Das ist eine tolle Anfängeraufgabe! Das wäre sicher auch gut in der Schule umsetzbar. Wobei dann die Frage ist, wie man an eine grosse Menge frisches Flechtmaterial kommt. Und zum Schlussteil: Schau für deine Kids und dich! Das ist unbezahlbar...

Eine wunderbare Flechtarbeit, lieber Felix! Bei uns wird dafür hauptsächlich die Korb-, oder die Trauerweide verwendet, die an den Ufern der Flüsse und Seen sehr häufig vorkommt. Daneben wird aber auch die große Brennnessel genutzt. Ganz liebe Grüße aus dem oberösterreichischen Hausruckviertel nach St. Gallen!
